Chapter 2

*James's Pov*

Swoosh Swoosh.  All I hear are cars passing by on the streets of New York. I've bin on these streets for 3 hours looking for a suitable job to make some money and pay the rent for my studio apartment.

Since my dad died and my step mother threw me out with only 600 dollars and the little job I did at Starbucks getting 80 dollars a week my life has been a total hell.

My step mother has always seemed like goal digger to me but I never said anything to my father because he was really in love with her, and doing that would make shit worst for me.

When my father died that hag tried to get with me sexually can you believe? And because I refused she kicked me out and later caused me to loose my job at Starbucks. Purposely!

So I've bin around town job searching,but all day all I've heard was "We will get back to you." I was drained mentally when can a guy just get a break?

I was now crossing the road when I heard scrrrrreeeeeeeerk and my life flashed before my eyes as a car being driven way above the speed limit nearly took my life. I was so lucky the car didn't hit me and had come to a screeching halt. Today was so not my day!

I was beyond furious and thankful at the same time. After flipping the driver off because of how angry I was. I made my way across the road I decided I was done for the day I had have enough.

Heading down the side walk I spot the same vehicle that almost killed me that bastard! It was an Audi 500 like my step mom I mean Jessica  drives.

"Excuse me! I'm dreadfully Sorry. I was in such a hurry and not paying any attention to where I was going!" a woman spoke as soon as she rolled down the windows.

Wow did I call this gorgeous woman a bastard, I mean, arrrm she beast who almost killed me she and her perfect jade eyes! She had an English accent and was beautiful but why did she stop to apologize to someone like me? She must feel pitiful for me.

"Lady save it just try not to take anyone's life on your way home please!" I exclaimed. I wasn't gonna make her beauty blind me from her reckless actions. If you were mine I would spank your ass pink for all your recklessness!

Realising the direction mind was going so fast I started to walk fast away leaving the beautiful woman shocked! Why was she shocked? I had no idea and didn't care to stay and find out.

*Veronica's Pov*
 
" Lady save it just try not to take anyone's life on your way home please! If you were mine I would spank your ass pink for all your recklessness!" after that he was turning and walking away. Was this seriously happening? Did he really just say what I think he said? Just those few words from that mysterious hunk and am feeling weird. I mean that sexy bastard.

Realising he's almost all the way up the block I drove after him. Did he even know who he was talking to.

" I know I almost killed you but that was rude! Do you even know who I am if you knew you would tremble!"

"Oh my I'm so scared." He said waving his arms around sarcastically. This man was clearly a fool. A sexy fool a voice in my head said. Scolding myself mentally I jumped out the car as lady like as possible and ran over to him and held my hand up to his impressive chest to stop him.

"Do you want to get charge for attempted murder and harassment,in one day?" He asked in a smug tone. How dare he!

"Harassment? It's clear you do not know who you are talking to!" I raised my voice loudly even attracting some on lookers but I didn't care at all who saw.

I was feeling like a fool now,all he did was just laugh at my outburst. For a very long time I have never felt defeated until now.

"Who am i  talking to exactly? 'The Queen of England' huh? Your highness." he said while bowing to me and laughing like a lunatic. This man was clearly stupid! Obnoxious! Retarded! Sexy and hot!

Scolding myself mentally not know where all those stupid thoughts came from I was ready to reply when I saw the familiar flashing of cameras.

"Veronica! Veronica! Is this your new boy toy?" I heard from all around me  paparazzi. They never seem to leave me alone and now they have pictures with me and this ass. I really should stop walking around without my body guards. Grabbing the lune so they have no one to question I shoved him into the passenger seat of my Audi and went around to the drivers seat as quick as I could.

"So lady now your kidnapping me? I don't even know you and you hate me this much wow!" He said sarcastically overreacting. I scrolled at him started to head down the street. What a day now I have some sexy idiot in my car.

'What could be better than this you scored a hot guy on a bad day' a familiar voice I haven't heard for so long said. It was the part of me that felt.

Omg!! This chapter took me a while I had alot of fun.... James huh who's in love with this fun loving goof ball I know I am and I know Veronica is falling hard asf!!!! Enjoy people :)
