hello and welcome to facts #1! here i'll tell you facts/headcanons/trivia whatever you want to call it, about the latest chapter/s of panther. these will happen after every 3 chapters!!

1. "Flight" and "Ilk" are just synonyms for clan.
2. Medicine cats, or in this version, menders, can have mates!
3. Starclan and The Dark Forest in this are called "Kith of Shattered Stars" and "Horde of Darkened Clouds." More will be explained in the upcoming chapters ("Kith" and "Horde" are also synonyms for clan, kinda).
4. Despite at such a young age, Cricketkit is extremely insecure of how she looks. It shows when she calls her eyes "dull" and "boring." It shows more when Loonsong assures her that her eyes are fine. Cricketkit sounds like she agrees in what Loonsong's saying and moves on, though she's still secretly hating herself on the inside. My poor baby :(
5. Pigeonkit, another kit in the nursery, was hiding behind Loonsong the whole time, too shy to come out. Loonsong is also his foster mother, who got distracted by Pantherkit and Cricketkit to notice he was gone.
6. A few moons ago, Loonsong, before she fostered Pantherkit and Cricketkit, got taken away by twolegs (or in this version, no-tails) and they kept her for a while. Later on, they took her to get spayed. She managed to escape right after that. Not being able to have kits ever again, she's fostered kits ever since. If Kitestar announced for a kit to be fostered, she'd volunteer right away (she's had kits before the incident and still cares for them).
7. If Cricketkit was a human, she'd definitely have freckles.
