Madi's POV
I walked into the gym area for an open gym. It'd been awhile since I had gained a tumbling skill and I really wanted to get my full. (I know she has it, but for the sake of the story she doesn't.) I walked over to the long tumbling track we have and took off my street shoes. I put on my nifinitys and warmed up and stretched out. I started off with simple tumbling like my handsprings and backhand springs. I did a few back tucks and then started doing layouts. I noticed Matt walk in and over to where I was. I tried to ignore it and focus on my full. I did my roundoff BHS full. I landed my full but fell back on my back. I sighed and tried it a few more times. I kept doing it and eventually landed it perfectly. I smiled and looked over at Matt to see him wink and give me a thumbs up. I blushed and walked over to the pit with the foam cubes. Matt ran over and smiled saying," Good job Mads." I blushed and said," Thanks.." He smiled and did a standing full into the pit. I took a deep breath and glanced behind me before throwing what I hoped would turn out to be a standing full. I felt myself spin once and land in the foam. I smiled and turned to Matt throwing my arms around him. He chuckled and hugged me back before pulling away and looking at my eyes. Suddenly he leaned in and kissed me softly. I blushed and kissed back before pulling away and placing my forehead on his. He smiled and rubbed my arm softly. "Madi...I..I really like you and I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?" I blushed and nodded frantically before hugging him again. We heard a chorus of awes and looked up to see Jamie, Reagan, and Peyton. Matt and I both blushed and looked at each other. We climbed out of the pit and the three girls started giggling and teasing us about dating. Matt sighed softly before chuckling. Jamie smiled and said,'Sleepover?" Matt looked down at me and shrugged. He said,"I was hoping to take Madi out but..I guess." Peyton's eyes got big and she said,"NO! You two are going to go out...that's final." The three got up and walked away giggling. I smiled and grabbed my bag and changed my shoes. Matt helped me get back up and grabbed my hand and interlaced our fingers before walking out of the gym with me and helping me into his car. He drove us to his house where we stayed in his room watching movies then we went out to Whataburger for supper then he dropped me off at my house...that was by far the best day I've ever had!
