4. The cute look you put on your face when your trying to see something past your precious hair.

5. How soft your skin is, so clear and perfect, I could just kiss it all day.

6. Your cute green shirt. I have never quite been a fan of green, but you make it seem like the most beautiful color out of them all.

Edd smiled hard as he felt his cheeks heat up.

The paper was a soothing color of Baby Blue, while the envelope was a Beautiful Dark Night Blue. The whole letter was in cursive, and all the i's were cute, small smiley faces.

Edd stared at the letter as a million questions flooded his thoughts about the frequent letters.

Where did they come from? Why did the person like me like this? What attracted them to me?

Edd sat near the edge of the pond next to Matt, holding his legs close to his chest with his arms, while Matt was softly kicking his feet in the water.

All that was hurt was small noises of frogs as they leaped from lily pad to lily pad. The cat tails sway to the left with the same rhythm as the wind. 

Matt was wearing some white shorts with a shoulder-length purple sweater.
He was messing with Edd's hair, tangling it up and making small braids out of it, making sure to undo them right after.

"Should I call you lover boy now? Hm?"
Matt said, a smirk forming on his face.

Edd felt his face heat up. He pulled his collar out of embarrassment.

"Why do you always make fun of everything?" Edd whined.

"Because, duh, I don't take life seriously. It's not like I'm getting out alive."

Both of them went quiet. Matt looked at Edd, and pulled his feet out of the water to mimic how Edd was sitting. 

After getting tired of that sitting position, Matt stood up and looked up at the sky as he just spaced out. He crosses his arms and swayed side to side a little bit.

Edd stood up and looked at him. He thought to himself:

What is up with him?

"'Maatt...." He whispered playfully.

After no response, he spun his finger in front of Matt's face.

"Lolly..lolly..lolly.."

Suddenly, Edd clapped right in front of Matt's face.

"POP!" He said, laughing like a maniac.

Matt yelled and leaped forward, out of panic and surprise. He waved his arms crazily, and grabbed Edd's sleeve out of fear, pulling him back into the pond with him.

Edd was loosing air, fast. He never learned how to swim at school because all the kids would laugh, and his parent's did not have enough money to give him one-on-one classes.

His vision started getting blurry. He looked over and saw Matt, who seemed to be trying to pull him up.

"EDD!" Matt tried to call out from the water.

Edd blacked out.

Matt held Edd close to him, and pulled him up to the surface using all his strength. He first lifted Edd onto the shore before getting out of the water himself.

"Edd! Edd!! Cola Boy talk to me!" Matt cries out, quickly following the steps of CPR and put both hands on Edd's chest, and delivered several compressions to him until he started coughing up water.

Matt held him up and patted his back softly, until Edd was finished.

"You gave me a fright, Cola boy.."
Matt managed to say. His voice was quiet, like he was choking back something.

Tears.

Edd pulled away from Matt, shaking his head because his hair was still soaking wet.

"What happened?"
"What HAPPENED is that you almost left me, Cola Boy. Why didn't you tell me you couldn't swim?!"
"I didn't think swimming would ever come to be relevant!"

Matt took a second to wipe his eyes.

"Were you crying?"
"No? Edd. We were just in water. Of course all the water overflowed my eyes."
"Oh..right. I forgot."

Edd's hair was flat against his head. He frantically tried to move it out of the way.

Matt moved closer to him.

"Here."

Matt lifted Edd's hair and smoothed it back, revealing Edd's big, Dark brown eyes.

Matt just stared without noticing. 

"Matt!"
"Uh.."
"Why are you staring at me? Are my eyes that bad?!"
Edd looked away.

"No!"
"Their....perfect.."
Matt sat back, smiling.

Both of them has completely forgot the fact they were sitting in cold, soaking wet clothes. 

Matt flicked back his hair.

"I saved you. That makes me your bodyguard. I have to protect you."
He said, smirking.

Edd frantically looked to the side as his face heated up again.

"Y-you don't have t-"
"Shh, nope. No fighting it. I said it and now it's happening. Deal with it, Cola Boy."

Edd blinked.

"Yeah..whatever.."

Matt stood up, and held out his hand for Edd.

"Lets get home, get dried off, and do something fun, like a bucket list."

Edd turned to look at Matt's hand, and grabbed it.

"Sure, that'll be fun.."

To Edd's surprise, Matt picked him up bridal style and held him close, too.

"MATT. Put me down."
"Sorry, as your bodyguard I have to protect you now. You could get hurt on the way back."
"I said put..me..down.."

Edd didn't even bother to fight it. He just yawned, and fell asleep as he buried his head in Matt's chest.
