Wings of Fire: A True Journey [FF]

Chapter One

Five years later...

"PPPLLEEEAASSSEEE mum, pretty please, I promise to behave, please."

"RAIN, stop begging me to go outside the rainforest, you know what happened last time you tried to sneak out. You all most got killed by a Nightwing. A NIGHTWING. So no, you can not go outside this rainforest till you are eight years old. Do you understand young lady." Glory was furious whenever Rain begged her to see outside the rainforest. She would never let her dragonet go outside their home without her.

"Buut muum." Rain groaned "No buts Rain you stay here ok. This is your home. Why in Pyrrhia whould you want to go outside the rainforest."

"Because you did mummy, and I wanna be just like you. I wanna explore the world like you." Rain said with anger.

"Oh Rain, when will you ever understand that I had no choice but to explore the world. Do you remember how I used to tell you that I was in a prophecy to end they war from Blister, Burn and Blaze. I had to be in the prophecy but I had no choice I had to explore Pyrrhia and go to each and ever tribe. Do you understand baby." Glory was getting sick and tired of telling Rain this story over and over and over again. But she never understood the meany like she did.

"I understand mum." Rain was desperate to get out of this rainforest she hated how everyone liked her because she was the queens daughter. She wanted to be free and to know the world. But she had to wait three more years to even taste the air of it.

"Now promise me you won't try and escape again ok Rain, or my guards will have to bring you to me again you this time your punishment will be worse then the last ok. I want you to be queen because the Rainwings and the Nightwings love you. They want you as your queen." Glory was devastated that Rain wouldn't listen to her a hundred percent of the time but she still listened and obeyed most orders.

Rain sighed "ok mum I promise to not leave the rainforest till im eight." Glory was happy to hear it and hugged Rain " now go play with your brothers and sister all right." Rain smiled "ok, bye." Rain could hear her mum say bye to her but she didn't listen she wanted to get out of this rainforest forest while she was still a dragonet but her mother left when she was six not five. However Rain's hatching day was a few weeks away and she couldn't wait. She planned out every thing, the games, food even the guests she planned it all.

Rain flew down to go play with her siblings who were helping each other fly since Rain's sister was only two and still learning " hey guys."

"Oh hey sis, Hazel and I were just helping little Silver. Also have you seen our big bro anywhere he's been practicing his camouflage scales alot. Plus since your the only one who can really see were a hidden dragon is then can you help us." Mango paused for a moment waiting for Rain.

"Has he really gone hiding or were you guys playing hide and seek but you couldn't find him." Rain starred at them with a grin. Hazel climbed down from the tree he was on and looked down.

"Ok yes, Silver, Mango and I were playing hide and seek and since we can't see him alot we couldn't find him." Hazle sighed

Rain was all ways proud to here it "ok I will help you" she looked around her twin brothers and saw her brother Gecko, who was just about to scare Silver. " there he is, just behind Silver hanging upside down twisted and just about to say." "BOOOOO!!!!!" Screamed Gecko.

"AHHHHHHHHH, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT GECKO, YOU NEARLY GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!!!" Howled Hazle. Rain stood there while letting her scales into a purple, orange to show her sly grin with pleaser. All four dragonets saw there eldest brother appear from the trees, hanging upside down and smiling  with the same colour shade as Rain, a purple with orange strips waving along his scales.

"I did it to see that look on your face and it's really funny you know." Gecko glided down from were he was hanging and landed right next to Rain. "So what are we gonna do today Rain." Gecko said after awhile."

"Hmmmm. Ooh i know how about we practice our venom on some leaves." Everyone looked at Rain with a smile but Silver " but Rain I'm only two i can't use my venom. I CAN'T EVEN FLY FOR MOON SAKE."

"Ok, ok then we won't do venom practice. Ummm, how about we go find some fruits around here and the dragon with the most fruits found in under fifteen minutes win. Also you can't cheat and steal some from the fruit basket infront of mother's hut. Got it." Rain sat there and waited for someone to disagree with here. But no one did.

"I'm fine with that if you are Hazle." Mango said

"I'm fine with that to Mango how about you Gecko." Hazle added

"Yeah I'm fine with it but I'm helping Silver since she can't reach the tops of some trees." Gecko replied while walking over to Silver, who was still on her branch above his head.

"Ok then lets begin in three...  two...  CAAAWWW." Rain screamed as she left off. Her mother found out that Rainwings could mimic some animal sounds around them which came in handy alot if you were in danger and you had to hid so you just camouflaged and made some bird noises to make sure your safe and hidden.

Rain flew up high to see the trees around her and spotted her banana tree that she went to if she was hungry and wanted to have fun. It was really fun to climb if your wings where tired and you really wanted a banana.

She flew down and landed right on top of a huge banana bunch and lifted it up with all her might. She managed to lift it off the branch and she nearly dropped it since it was so heavy. Rain flew down to the ground while still holding the bananas and placed it infront of her. Rain had to think of a way to get this huge banana bunch to there play area.

That's just aboit when she thought I'll just roll it over while pushing it. It was the perfect plane and as she suspected it worked and she rolled it all the way to the little dragonets play area and she still had five minutes to wait so she sat next to here bananas and picked one off. She pealed it open like mother Glory taught her to do and she ate the about three bananas till Gecko and Silver showed up with four mangos and one coconut.

"WOW, how much bananas did you find it looked like alot." Silver was tring to count the bananas and lost count half way through.

"Well there is at least thirty bananas in there but i did eat three befor you came." Rain said while finishing her fourth banana." Oh look it's Mango and Hazle. Wow they only have two bananas each and a few berries wooow." Everyone turned around to see there twin brothers land next to them all and dump there fruit on the floor.

"We didn't get the lucky spot so we had to just deal with these." Hazle said while taking a banana from the bunch. "Where did you find so much bananas cause I've explored this whole area and didn't find one banana tree."

Rain looked up on her younger brothers. "Its a secret that I like and I'm not telling you were the tree is." She thought of something and it was weird what if they find the tree and realise that I might be cheating and then they would hate me for cheating. Wait a minute they would never find my tree cause it's hidden deep in the forest away from the village and away from the guards so they would never go near the outside without any guards near it so... HA they would never find my tree even if they tried.

"Soo Rain wins and who's ready for round too and this time we have to pick different fruit this time so if you mostly got mangos this time then you need to get something different like bananas orr coconuts. Everyone got it, including you Rain." Gecko starred at Rain with an angry look to it while it scales turned a orange, red, means no cheating or I tell mother.

"Yes I know the rules Gecko you don't have to turn red for it." Rain stood there and started to turn red too but quickly turned her scales to yellow and started the count down "three... two...  CAWW!!" Everyone went off and so did Rain.
