*Emily's POV*

"Pigs definitely don't fly, Zoey." I gave her my you've got to be kidding me look.

"Fine, fine blame the stupid novel I was forced to read." she rolled her eyes in annoyance of her mom letting her read a fictional book about random things.

"Stupid and lame." Sophia added.

Let me introduce my two best friends, Sophia Jones and Zoey Taylor. They're actually two different people. Sophia; girly, fashionable, lady-like girl. She is mostly quiet but really friendly. As for Zoey; goth kind, music lover, and for her black is always the new pink. She's loud and talkative. When I'm reminded of how different my best friends are, I tend to smile because no matter how different they both are, they still managed to be my friends because I was neither of them both. I'm like the middle of their personalities. I do my best to make them in good terms all the time when it came to the point that they started getting along very well.

"What else was written in the novel?" I asked sounding a bit curious of what kind of crap was actually written there.

"Well, they also put that spiders fart and burp or something." Zoey grinned when she remembered.

I burst out laughing of the fact that spiders burp and fart. True or not it really is hilarious.

"Ew, that is gross!" Sophia made a very grossed out look at the both of us.

"Oh come on, it is actually very entertaining to listen to these unrealistic things." I finally stopped laughing my brain out for about three minutes to catch my breath.

Sophia just rolled her eyes at us and stared at something else. Zoey continued to tell me the other things written on the book she read until the bell rang; signaling the end of lunch.

We gathered our stuff and exited the cafeteria. We went to our separate ways and attended our classes.

At the end of classes, I immediately told Zoey and Sophia that they could go ahead because I had to stay at the library to finish my report for English.

They just agreed because they know that whenever I had something to do for any of my classes, the first thing I would do was finish them all in the library.

The library always closes at seven in the evening, and I would always be the last one to leave. Most of the time the librarian would give me the key to the library and get it from me the next morning.

I didn't feel like keeping the key right at this moment so I went along with the librarian and exited with her. When I went out the library, I always notice how scary the school looks when all the lights were out, the hallways were empty and the dying silence. I waved my goodbye to the librarian and hurried to the parking lot to get my car and get home as soon as possible, I don't want another word from my mom of how much time I was giving to books.

When I went to my light blue car, I alarmed it open and got in. When I turned on the engine, I was ready to go. But, the problem was, the car wasn't moving. I tried again and again but didn't go as far as an inch away from where I was.

I got out of the car and looked at my car to find anything that may be suspicious. I checked it and found the problem. All my tires were flat! Every single one of them. How did this happen? I thought. I drive so carefully that this can't happen unless someone was messing with me. I started to find this a bit creepy. I looked around the parking lot but there wasn't any hint of what might cause this.
