The next morning was one of the usuals. I drove to school and met my small circle of friends. Reece, Blake, George and Georgia were waiting for me there with my brother, Alex. I gave them a full smile and wave. I gave my brother a hug as I caught up with them.

"You gotta greet Georgia a happy birthday." Reece told me.

"Really?" My smile remained there. I turned to Georgia. "Happy birthday." I leaned in and gave her a hug.

"Thank you." She said, hugging me tighter.

"There'll be a party at her place tonight." Blake announced, first one to do before Georgia.

"Yeah, right." Georgia rolled her eyes. "But yeah, there'll be a party tonight. Everyone in the whole year level will be coming."

I looked over at Alex. He nods with a smile, that's my cue to agree. "We're going."

"No, no." Alex shook his head. "I can't skip my work tonight."

"Aww." Georgia pouted.

"Yo, Reece!" Alex tapped Reece's shoulder. "Take care of my sister, huh? You won't get my blessing when something happens to her."

I don't know if Alex was serious with what he is saying but I find it cute. He was like those big brothers in english movies we've watched when we're still young. And those big brothers in the books I've read before.

"I will." Reece said, putting his arm around me. I smiled to Reece.

We walked to class, which ended a few hours later. Georgia and I had some girly talk at the restroom.

"What do you think of Reece?" She asks while she looked for something inside her bag.

"What's with him?" I chuckled, washing my hands with the water.

"Nothing." She grinned at me through the mirror. "Just answer my question, girl."

"He's um..." How can I describe Reece? "Funny, caring... and he's cute."

"Yes, he is." She chuckled. "Do you like him?"

"Yes." I nodded.

Georgia's eyes widen and I knew what I had to do since she might got the wrong idea. "As a friend." I cleared.

She gave a sheepish grin as if she's not convinced with it. "Ya know, Reece is a really great guy. I've known him for so long."

"And I know when to say he likes someone." Georgia continued, not dropping that grin off of her face as she swiped the lipgloss on her lips.

"Come on, the boys are waiting." I told her because I think I know what she'll say next.

We walked back to the boys to get lunch. Georgia took the seat beside my brother and George. I took the other seat beside Alex, and to my left is Reece. We had lunch and talked about grade school since Blake brought that up.

After this, our two last classes passed too.

"Are you still heading to work?" Reece asked as we walked towards the parking lot. Oh my god, I haven't even thought of work today. Maybe I shouldn't go. Or maybe I should. It's only Friday though.

"Yeah, maybe. Not sure." I shrugged. "At what time does Georgia's party starts?"

"Around 10. We'll party till morning." Reece replied. We reached my car.

"Tsk." I sighed. "I don't know if I can go, I really want to though. I'll ask my boss first."

"Okay. I'll tell Georgia." He offered.
