"Hey Georgia. I am very sorry that I can't go to your party tonight. Trust me, I really want to. But my boss didn't allow me to absent. Have a blast and have a happy happy birthday. I love you!" I sent the voicemail to Georgia, hoping she would understand the situation.

I turned around to looked at Harry. And he's looking at me too. "I should go and change." I said.

"You shouldn't." He said, drinking down the champagne he has in his office here at home.

"Do you always drink?" I asked.

"Kind of." He shrugged. "Whenever Evelyn is here."

I wanted to ask why but I gained self-control not to try to. I took the other glass from the tray and I took the champagne too, pouring some drink down.

"What are you doing?" Harry asked, his brows furrowed at me.

I put down the champagne's bottle and looked at him. "You didn't let me leave, might as well let me drink."

I immediately gulp down the liquid, regretting the gesture. It's my first time to drink, ever! "Agh."

"Stop it." Harry chuckled at my reaction. He grabbed my wrist.

"No, I'll finish this one." I stubbornly shook my head, drinking what's left in my glass.

"Do you really want to get drunk?" Harry chuckled again, almost laughing at me.

"Don't laugh at me." I fought, wiping my lips dry. "This is my first time ever."

"Okay okay." Harry said, try to stop his laughter. "Let me teach you how."

He took his own glass and raised it in front of me. "Slowly, but surely... drink it up."

I did what he says, like how am I supposed to. I looked at him in the eye and gulped it down, tasting the bittersweet alcohol burning in my throat. The champagne tasted luxurious, it doesn't taste that bad.

"Good girl." He said.  "Not bad for a first timer." He chuckled lowly.

"I want another one." I declared.

"No. That's your first and last." He argued.

"Come on, I'm nineteen and I'm in college, Harry. There's nothing wrong with that." I fought back.

I earned a scoff from him. "Why are you so stubborn?"

"Just let me live, Harry." I told him. He let my wrist go and let me have another shot of that rich champagne. I can feel his eyes on me.

I raised my glass in front of him. "Cheers."

He grinned devilishly. "Cheers."

We drank the champagne simultaneously. Two glasses became three, then became four, then became five. I started feeling dizzy and I give myself a mental slap for that. I sat on the couch as Harry watches me have another drink.

"You're drunk, lady." Harry says. I don't know if he's laughing on my situation or not.

"I'm not drunk." I slurred, keeping my voice straight to prove my false statement.

"You are, c'mon. I'll take you to bed." He says. Just when I was about to give in to his touch, his phone rang and vibrated from his jeans' pocket.

"Give me a sec." He mumbled quietly, but loud enough for me to hear.

"Hello Evelyn." He greeted in a business voice. I looked up at him, trying to gain the strength to do the move.

"Okay, fine. Take care." He bids as he hung up and threw his phone to his bed.
