London's POV :
I arrived at Treys mom house and it was breath taking . But I should gave known that because Treys house was nice ass hell.
"Hi I'm London Jada's best friend "I said extending my hand so that she could shake it .
"Girl if you don't put thAt hand away and give me a hug your family now"she said pulling me into a very tight and warm hug.
"Come on baby and help me in the kitchen I'm still waiting on my knuckle head sons to get here. They asses are never on time for shit."she said pulling back casing me to chuckle as I followed her to the kitchen where Jada was removing the food from the oven .
"Hey Jay it smells so good in here" I said walking over to give her a hug .
"Thanks Me and mama April been cooking since 5" she said pulling back from the hug.
I made my way to the sink to wash my hands so I could help .
"What all did you guys cook" I said while drying my hands off with a napkin making my way to the kitchen island .
"Greens , Yams, corn on the cob ,dinner rolls , corn bread , pot roast , fried chicken , potato salad, Mac&Cheese , yellow rice and home made peach cobbler" Treys Mama said
causing my mouth to water as the different food aromas filled the room .
"Okay what do you need me to do Ms.April . I asked
"It's mama April " she said correcting me
"Start taking all the food to the table as we put everything in severing bowels." she said handing me a big bowl of Mac and cheese .
"Yes ma'am "I said doing exactly as I was told. As soon as we were finishTrey and some light skin dude with dreads walk in the room.
"Hey mama sorry we late something came up that we had to take care of "he said giving her a hug and a kiss on her cheek.
"Mmmhmm" Mama April said giving them the side eye making her way over to the light skin boy with the dreads and pretty ass eyes.
"Darius I expect this type of behavior from your brothers not you" she said pulling him into a hug .
"I know mama I tried to tell these fools to hurry up."He said shooting Trey a Imma fuck u up look cause he was laughing. Causing me to giggle and him to look over at me.
"Who is this mama."He asked looking at me licking his lips .
"Oh I'm sorry this is London Jada's best friend and London this is my youngest son Darius" she said
"Hi "I said giving him a lil wave.
"Sup shawty " he said giving me a lil nod.
"Where's my other son ? " She asked pulling awAy from Darius .
"He's coming he's parking the car" Trey said .
"Alright go wash up dinner is ready" she said causing the boys to mumble something under their breathes as they made their way out of the dinning room .
"Those niggas are going to be the death of me"she said shaking her head causing me to chuckle a lil.
"Mama" I heard a very familiar voice say causing me to freeze and my heart rate to speed up.
"In the dinning room baby" she yelled. Seconds later future appeared looking good as hell.
"Mama what's for" he said stopping med sentence as soon as his eyes landed on me.
"London?"he said
" hi Jontez excuse me I'll go see if Jada needs a hand in the kitchen "I said making my way to kitchen .
"Jay need any help "I said sighing .
"Yeah grab the pitcher of sweet tea while a grab the lemonade ." She said
"Okay "I said grabbing the pitcher of sweet tea .
"You good ?"Jada asked .
"No why you didn't tell me Future was going to be here " I said sighing a lil upset .
"I really wanted you to be here tonight and if I would have told you he would be here you would have never came. "She said and she was right I would stayed my black ass home . I really didn't want see his face right now because I was afraid that I'll fall back into his lil trap. Truth is I still have some very strong feelings for him and feelings like that just don't go away. But he played and hurt me and I'm not trying to be nobody damn fool.
"Come on lets go I'm here for you girl "Jada said as we made our way back to the dinning room. By the time we got there everybody was already there seated. Jada went and sat next to Trey and greeted him with a kiss. I guess they made up causing me to smile . Treys a good guy and I was happy that my best friend found him. As I scanned around the table for some where to sit the only seat that was free was the one next to future. Ugh FML!!! 😩
