Let's Talk Albums

it's crazy how an album can mean so much to someone. like it can represent a whole era of that person's life, or like a certain emotion for someone. it can represent someone's safe place, as something they listen to to make themselves feel alright again. a single album can represent not only the artist's struggle, but how a listener relates to it and develops their own meaning for it. it's insane because two people will hear the same message from one song or album. the interpretation is different for everyone because no two people have the same perspective or experiences. it's truly fascinating.
