"At the end of the day, at the end of the day he loves me..." I sang Tasha Cobbs throughout my shift. I worked the graveyard shift last night. 7pm to 7am, it's 8:45 and I still haven't left yet. The next nurse is running super late due to car troubles.
Once I finally left it was 10 am. I had a call coming in from Dhaze.
"Hi my beautiful nurse." She said loudly.
"Girl it's too early for that. I just worked 3 graveyard shifts back to back and I haven't had a day off in literally 3 weeks."
"This the life you chose boo. How's the love life?"
"Pretty good, I'm glad I'm off when he's having his album release party. You wanna come with me cause you know I don't do big clubs."
"Any chance to be next to Quavo's fine ass, you know I'm down."
I laughed as I got turned into my street. "So why don't you talk to him more than friends?"
"Cause bitch that's my man in my head. Real life I don't want him. I live vicariously through you and Take, except y'all not having sex so there's nothing to get off on."
I laughed hard at her crazy self. "Whatever. I'll have you know, he doesn't mind my celibacy. But I'll call you back he's face timing me."
"Bye bitch! Show him a nipple or something." She said laughing.
I ignored her comment and answered his FaceTime as I walked into my condo.

He appeared on my screen looking like a whole meal. "Look at you looking daddy-ish."
He chuckled. "What's up baby? Why you still in scrubs?"
"I just got off 20 minutes ago. I'm in need of a serious shower and a massage."
He smiled big. "I can be there in 10 minutes to give you a massage. Touch all the right spots. I want you to hear something anyways."
I laughed. "Alright, I'll leave the spare key under the plant pot." He nodded and we got off FaceTime.
I took a nice hot 45 minute shower. I heard him come in the house 15 minutes into my shower. He walked in the bathroom and called my name. He couldn't see anything but my silhouette since the steam of the hot water.
"You in here melting your damn skin off." He said coming close to the shower.
"Oh shut up. Happy Culture day baby." I opened the shower door a bit and kissed his lips. He tried to peak in and I pushed his head. "Don't get to happy there buddy."
"Aight baby girl. Where's your oils for this massage?"
"Under the cabinet but babe can you pass me a towel." He grabbed the towel and handed it to me. I dried myself in the shower and then walked out. He was leaning on the bathroom door smiling at me. He came over and hugged me tight kissing my lips multiple times.
