"Damn Kai, I ain't know Dave had a body like that. Shit... you better get to freak on." Dhaze said as we watched Dave and his homeboys sit a little distance from us smoking. He knows I hate the smell of weed so he told them to move. I ain't gonna lie, his body is amazing and those tattoos.. mmm. But I'm gonna be a good girl.

"Girl please, I'm still in love with Takeoff ass. I can't be bouncing from dick to dick."

"But you never had dick soooo."

"Shut up." I said giving her an evil glare. She laughed as if the shit was that funny. "Besides, Dave knows what I'm going through and he wouldn't take it there. Trust me, he's let me know. Besides, he doesn't wanna settle down."

"That could change if he met the right person." Dhaze said nodding over to his group and I noticed him staring at me.

"D, trust me... it won't happen."

She smiled. "And why is that?"

"Cause I already met the right person and it's–"

"Kirsh." She said looking at me. "Honey, I know you love that man and I know he loves you. I'm not saying go back to him and I'm not saying have a fling with someone, I'm simply saying don't let him off the hook easily. Make that nigga sweat, cry, and bleed for your ass. You understand me?" I nodded. "Cause a man will only do what you allow. And when you show this nigga that you don't need his ass, that's when he'll realize he needs to man the fuck up."

"I guess you're right."

"I know I am, now stop moping around okay? You're gonna enjoy yourself and take some bomb ass pictures to post on your Instagram so he can drool over your fine ass. Now come on, time to hit them angles."

I laughed. I love Dhaze, she really has my back. She always gives me the best advice and never judges me for anything that I do. It's rare to come across friends who truly love and motivate you.

After our photo shoot, I posted some pictures to Instagram and of course kirsh is one of the first to like it. I'm not gonna lie, I do miss him a lot but Dhaze is right, he needs to work for me. I'm never a second option and he needs to understand that.

"Come on Kai, lets get on the jet skis. I said I'm not letting you be sad on this trip." Dave said putting his hand out for me to grasp.

I smiled up at him and grabbed it walking with him to the jet skis. Dave is honestly a dope person, like he hasn't tried to push up on me at all. He understands I'm vulnerable and honestly just wants me to be happy. I appreciate him cause he's been a great person to talk to the past couple weeks.

I hope this friendship lasts for a long time.
