The Neighbors //Eddsworld x Fem! reader//

Rain

It has been a couple of weeks since you moved in, and met the boys. You really enjoyed their company. Edd, with his puns, Matt with his extreme cinnamon roll personality, Tom who would play songs on his bass, and Tord the hentai loving freak...You secretly saw his hentai and burned some with Tom... What can could you say it was fun!

--(Y/N) POV--

I took a deep breath in the smell of moist earth was everywhere today, since it has been raining all day. I don't know why but I just always seemed to love that smell and the rain it calms me. (Sorry if you don't) Anyway I've been standing outside in the rain for about an hour now... I am happy it's raining and all, but I'm kind of bored. Welp in times like these there is only one solution... I ran over to their house and knocked on the door. I was greeted by the green hooded cola loving Edd. 

"Hi (Y/N)!" He smiles warmly "why don't you come inside before you catch a cold or something" you nodded and walked inside and closed the door afterwards. "Tom and Tord went off to do who knows what and Matt went shopping for mirrors" 

"I guess I will have to hang out with you then" you smiled 

"I guess so! Do you want a Cola?" Edd was already in the kitchen by the fridge. Dang he's fast. 

"Of course I would want a Cola!" Cola is the bomb how could he even need to ask me if I wanted one. He should just be like, boom here is a Cola. He just smiled and tossed you a Cola from the fridge.

"I'm going upstairs to draw" he started to walk upstairs Cola in hand and you followed. He walked into his room and you cracked open your Cola and started to drink it as you followed Edd into his room. Edd sat down at a desk with and open sketchbook on it and started to draw. You looked over his shoulder to see what he was drawing but he quickly closed it before you see anything.

"Awe" they was a hint of disappoint in your voice. A blushing Edd opened to a different page of his sketchbook and shows you a different picture of his backyard on a rainy day.  (I have no clue) 

"Oh, cool beans!" (I'm so sorry I say that a lot) it looked really good almost like the real thing. That is if it were bigger, and not a drawing. Edd just sat there really red. 

"T-thanks" he finally squeaked out

"Uh Edd, are you okay?" He looks redder than Tord's hoodie.

"Y-yeah I'm fine... hey how about we go watch a movie!" He's trying to change the subject? Oh well! That's fine by me!

"Okay" I chirped, Edd smiled and took my hand, he lead me downstairs to the couch. 

"So what kind of movie do you want to watch?" He asks. Well, I guess horror wouldn't be too bad...

"Horror I guess" Edd looked through the movies and asking me which ones I've seen and which ones I haven't. Finally he pulled one out called Misery. (Best book ever and okay movie m8's)

"Have you seen this one?" I don't think I've seen it. Maybe I've heard of it before it sounds familiar. So I shake my head. 

"Nope" 

"Want to watch this one then? I haven't seen it either" I hope it's good

"Okay, yeah sure" he put in the movie and I sat on the couch. Edd sat next to me as the movie played I remembered where I had seen it from. It was the one and only Misery by none other than Stephen King. I remember some parts of the book it's been so long since I actually read it.  The one thing that I remember was that is forever burned into my skull was the part where the crazy lady hobbles the poor guy. That along with a bunch of things from the book. 

//time skip b cuz I'm lazy// 

By the end of the movie we were both pretty grossed out and freaked out. (You know what I'm talking about if you've seen it or read it) 

--(Y/N)'s POV-- 

"That was interesting" I looked at Edd who was practically clinging to me. I wasn't as freaked out because I read the book, so I kind of knew what was coming. Edd on the other hand... didn't. 

"Y-yeah it w-was" I pat Edd's head and he looked at me. 

"Don't worry Edd she only goes after good writers not amazing artists" Edd smiled and blushes a bit "and besides if she even thought about touching you Tom, Tord, Matt and I would make sure she rots" 

"Okay" then Tom, Tord, and Matt came home and Matt instantly complaining about his hair being wrecked by the rain. (They somehow found each other okay)

// I liked making the longer stories it was more fun so I'm going to do that from now on and might I add 839 words wow//
