New Girl in Town~Rowbrina

Chapter 1: The Blonde Beauty

Rowan's POV
I looked around the house to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Everything in the house was clear, it was just all boxes. I still can't believe we're moving across the country just for my dads job.

"Rowan! Corey and Aubrey are here to say bye!", I heard my mom yell across the house.

"Coming!", I yell back and head towards the door to see Corey and Aubrey.

"Hey guys", I said, panting because I just ran across the whole house.

"I can't believe your actually leaving", Aubrey said as she brought me into a hug. Corey joined into the hug.

"I'm gonna miss you guys.", I started tearing up.

"We're gonna miss you too.", Corey said.

"Awww Row don't cry", Aubrey said as she wiped away my tears.

"Hey! Why do you get to cry and I don't?", I asked. Aubrey broke into more tears and hugged me again.

"Make sure you keep in touch. And thank you for bringing me and Corey together.", she thanked me.

"Aw, it was no problem. I wanted to you guys to be together.", I said. Then we exchanged more heartfelt sayings and I was on my way.

~2 hours later~
We were boarding the plane. After we took off I began practicing my French on an app I got.  I always wanted to learn French, my dream is to visit Paris one day.

~At Pennsylvania~
After landing, we drove to our new house. It was definitely an upgrade to my old house so I wasn't complaining. And I also finally got my own room.

After about two hours, I finally unpacked most of my stuff and dozed off.

~The Next Day~
I woke up, turning off the alarm on my phone. I began scrolling through my phone and replied to some texts from Corey, Aubrey, and some other friends that I forgot to respond to yesterday.

My stomach growled, reminding me that I was human and need to eat. I walked into the kitchen. I forgot that we barely moved in yesterday so there's no food.

"Row, I'm hungryyyy!", I heard my little sister complain.

"Me toooo. Moooommm! We need food!", I also complained.

"We'll go to the grocery store in a bit! Go get ready.", she said.

At the grocery store I saw my two little siblings shoving food into the cart. "Row, honey can you go get some milk and the ingredients for lasagna?", she said.

"Yeah mom", I replied and headed towards the dairy section first to grab the milk, parmesan, and ricotta cheese.

Then I went over to the seasoning section to get some seasonings of course. Then I made my way to the pasta section.

I noticed that a blonde girl was walking down the isle as well. She was gorgeous, my eyes lingered on her for a bit too long. But not long enough for her to notice.

I grabbed some pasta sauce. When I looked over to my left a saw the blonde trying to reach for lasagna noodles at the top shelf and murmured,"Why the hell would they put lasagna noodles at the very top?!" I chuckled,"Hey, need some help?"

She looked over, slightly embarrassed, "Uh, yes please." I reached for it on my tippy toes and grabbed two lasagna noodle boxes and handed her one. For once, my tallness helped me out. "Thanks.", she said. "No problem", I smiled.

"Uh hey, are you new here? I never seen you around, and this is a small town so I know pretty much everybody.", she asked.

"Yeah, I actually just moved here yesterday.", I replied.

"Really? Well, nice to meet you.", she looked at her phone,"CRAP! Sorry i'm late for work, but hopefully I see you around. Bye!" I smiled,"Yeah, bye!"

She hopes she sees me around? I watched as she ran away and realized I never got her name. For now, I'll just call her the blonde beauty.
