Chapter 7: Forgive

Rowan's POV
"Why do you have to leave?", I whined as Corey began packing his things. He was leaving back to LA tomorrow. "I wish I could stay too.", he sighs. "What about Paris?", I ask. Corey and Paris have became a thing over the summer. "I'll miss her. But long distance relationships are hard, Im not gonna ask her out.", he says. "Schools starting soon and my life's a mess." I'm starting my junior year while Sabrina is going to be a senior. I drop face down into my pillow,"She still won't talk to me."

"Why can't you go to her house?", he asks. "I tried three times. She's never home, or at least that's what her sisters tell me.", I say. "Well I don't know. Try again? Ask Paris to ask Sabrina where she's at and go at a time when she's definitely home.", he shrugs. I shoot up,"Good idea!"

"I know, i'm the best around.", he joked. "Oh shut up.", I laugh and pull out my phone to call Paris.

"Hey Rowan."

"Hey, can you do me a favor?"

"What is it?"

"I need you to ask Sabrina what she's doing so I can go over and explain."

"Of course. If..."

"What?"

"If you forgive Landry. I want our group of friends back."

"Deal. Only if Sabrina forgives me. Didn't Landry try to explain to Sabrina?"

"Sabrina blocked her. I tried to explain too but she ignored me."

"Oh well, text me once you know Sabrina's home."

"Got it. Bye Row."

"Bye."

I hung up and laid down until I get a text 10 minutes later saying that Sabrina was home. "Sabrina's home. See you later Cor.", I hug him. "Good luck kid.", he says. I walk out the door and make my way to Sabrina's, her house was a street away. I knock on the door and Sabrina's sister, Sarah,opens it.

"Sorry. She's not home again.", she says. I sigh. "Please Sarah. I need to talk to her, I really miss her.", I start to tear up. She looks at me with sympathy and turns her head and glances back into her house. "I'll tell her you came by.", she says. But then she whispers into my ear,"Go in through the back to the left. You can use the ladder to get into her room." She pulls away and puts her finger to her lips, telling me to keep quiet about it. I get the hint and say,"Okay, well thanks anyways."

I listen to Sarah's directions and go to the left side of her house. I look up and see an open window, must be Sabrina's. I look around for a ladder. I find the ladder on the ground. I place it up below the open window, only to see that it was a little too short. Fuck it. I climb the ladder to the top anyways. I put my arms on the open window and pull myself up. I get half way and see Sabrina on her bed face down, her earphones plugged in. I struggle, and accidentally kick my leg, making the ladder fall. Crap. "Sabrina!", I scream, dangling from the window. He head shoots up, revealing a tear stained face. She pulls out her earphones,"Rowan?!" "Yeah", I struggle to say. She groans and pulls me up from the window. I sigh in relief.

"Are you crazy? Why would you do that?!", she starts to tear up. "Because you won't talk to me.", I say. "Well maybe there's a reason Im not talking to you?", she raises her eyebrows, "Look. I don't want to hear it Rowan. I get it okay? You don't have to feel bad for me, just go back to Landry."

"I don't want her. Sabrina I want you.", I wipe away her tears,"Only you." "Then why would you kiss her!", she begins to cry. "We didn't kiss.", I say,"I fell off the bed and pulled her with me. I swear I pushed her off me right when I realized how close we were." She shakes her head and looks away. I grab her chin to make her face me. I look into her eyes and say,"Do you really think I would ever hurt you?"

She sighs and pulls me into a tight hug. "I'm so sorry I didn't believe you.", she says into the crook of my neck. "I missed you so much.", I say. "Me too.", she says. We pull away, I put my hand under her chin as I pull her into a kiss.

Our lips begin to move in sync. She deepens it, pulling me closer by putting her hands around my neck. I drop one of my hands to hold her waist, my other hand still holding her cheek.  Sabrina pushes me onto the bed, my legs on each side of her as we continue to make out. When she grinds on me I let out a soft moan, Sabrina uses this opportunity to explore my mouth with her tongue. She swirls her tongue around mine. "Mhm.", I moan as she continues to grind on me. I lay my hand on her butt, slightly squeezing it, making Sabrina moan into the kiss. But just then, the door opened, making us pull away. "Hey, so did you guys make up?", I heard Sarah say. Then she stopped in her track,"Okay. Sure looks like you did. Uh, sorry for interrupting things. Bye!" She rushed out the door.

Sabrina and I look at each other and begin laughing. She flopped down next to me, laying her head on my shoulder. "Well that killed the mood.", she chuckled. "Ya think I could put you back in the mood?", Sabrina began leaving a trail of kisses from my neck to my jawline. "Oh you definitely can. But Corey's leaving tomorrow, we should spend time with him.", I sit back up. Sabrina pouts and mutters,"Stupid Corey. Fine, let's go."

"I should probably invite Paris too. Is it okay if I invite Landry? I promised Paris that I would stop giving her the silent treatment if you forgave me.", I ask Sabrina. She looks hesitant but says,"Yeah I guess." "Okay.", I smile and peck her cheek.

After I call Paris and Landry to come over to my house, we start walking back to my house. "What are  you doing tomorrow night?", I ask, looking at our swinging hands. "You.", I hear her say. I look up and see her smirking. I roll my eyes playfully. "Can you meet me at our secret spot at 8:00?", I ask her. "Sure babe. What for?", she asks. "Just do it.", I insist. "Whatever you want.", she continues to swing our hands back and forth.

I unlock my door to see Paris was already here, they were laughing up in my room. Sabrina and I walk up, hand in hand. "Hey! So you guys made up?", Paris asked. "Yep.", Sabrina smiled at me. "Thank god.", Paris sighed,"I was tired of hearing you guys whine about it over the past few days." Then I hear the doorbell ring. Sabrina tenses up. I put my hand on hers. "Oh, Landry's here.", Paris hops up. "Don't. Make. It. Weird.", Paris scolds us. "I know. I know..", I say as we walk down stairs.

I open the door to see Landry tapping her foot nervously. "Oh hey.", she looks up and turns to Sabrina,"I'm really sorry Sabrina. I swear I honestly don't want to ruin your guy's relationship or our friendship. Please forgive me." "Of course I forgive you. Our friendship means so much to me.", Sabrina hugs Landry. "Thanks Sab.", she says. still hugging Sabrina. Once they pull away, Paris says,"Great! Now that we're all back to normal let's hang out with little Cor before he leaves for Cali." She ruffles his hair, making us all laugh. We all go back upstairs and catch up.
