A Thin Line Between Love and Hate

CHAPTER 18

It's been two weeks at wala akong naging balita kay Ken. ­Though tinawagan ako ni Kuya Kian and told me we got the deal. So I was always busy naman the past few days since maraming kotse ang pinapa-customize at the moment. I also had o hire new employees para ma-meet naming ang deadline

Kenzo called a couple of times asking when he could visit but I don't think this is the right time for him na pumunta ditto. Not when everything is a mess.

Dave also called me and wanting to meet up. So I decided to meet with him. He should be here any moment now. Then I heard a beep. I grabbed my bag and went outside closing the store since its already almost 9pm.

Hey! Looking good huh? Sabi ni Dave pagkakita niya sakin. In fairness naman sa kanya he is using one of the newest Mazda.

I smiled, Ikaw ha sinasanay mo ako sa mga pabiro mo na ganyan. Ikaw din baka-mafall kas sakin. Pabiro kong sabi habang sinasara ko ang pinto ng sasakyan niya.

Why not, I mean sa gwapo kong ito? Sabay kindat niya na may nakakalokong ngiti pa.

Hahaha, you're so funny. So saan na nga tayo pupunta ngayon? Dapat pareho tayong busy because of the closed deal. Sabi ko naman na medyo business pa rin ang nasa isip. Hindi rin naman kasi ako sanay ng lumalabas unless sila Kuya or sila Paul ang kasama ko.

We'll go somewhere new. I heard about this awesome bar and they said they serve the best drinks. Sabi niya while driving.

Oh really? Well then surprise me. Sabi ko naman getting comfortable sa upuan . But after a few minutes I noticed we're pulling up at the entrance of my own bar. Napangiti ako.

Wow! This place is rockin'! I heard him say while parking the car. We got out and hindi maalis ang ngiti ko.

New place pala ha? I didn't know that you like my bar. Sabi ko sabay ngiti.

No way!! This is yours? No wonder mukhang maganda and its popular bagay naman kasi sa mayari e. sabi niya while we're walking towards the entrance. Umiling iling nalang ako dahil sobrang natatawa ako sa pagiging amazed niya sa lugar lalo pag pasok naming dalawa.

We're enjoying our drinks nang may lumapit na babae kay Dave and he smirked and grabbed her and kissed her like there's no tomorrow.

Andy, I want you to meet my fiancée Lauren. He said with a full blown smile on his face.

Hi! Andy, Dave has been telling me stories about you. She seems nice. Nilahad niya and palad niya to do a handshake. She smiles warmly.

I then accepted the handshake. Smiled at her and say, I hope these stories are nothing but good.

Dave suddenly tugged her arms and asked her to dance. To say they are sweet each other is an understatement. They look so cute together.

Suddenly I saw someone who looked so familiar. Noong una ay di ko pnapansin pero nung nagumpisa na magbasag ng baso ang lalaki ay hindi ko napigilang lumapit. This guy is Ken. I gasped at how horrible he his appearance is. He tried na makatayo ngunit ni hindi siya makatayo. So I didn't hesitate at tinulunganko siya. The bouncers tried to help as well. But I don't know where the car is. So napilitan akong isakay siya sa taxi.

I called Dave and informed him that I needed to get home ASAP. Dahil pag nalaman niya naman na kasama ko si Ken ay siguradong mangaasar lang.

Since di ko alam ang bahay niya ay nagdesisyon na lamang akong dalhin siya sa bahay ko. Salamat nalamang at wala sila kuya sa bahay kundi ay pihadong mapapagalitan ako. 

I can't stop myself from staring at him he looked so peaceful but also he looks troubled. Naawa ako sa kanya but I dont know why. Siguro these are the times na talagang mapapaisip ka ng flashback about what happened in the past but I had to stop myself. Sira na ang gabi ko at ayoko ng masira pa ito lalo.

Pagkadating namin sa tapat ng bahay ko ay tinulungan ako ng taxi driver na maibaba siya at mailagay sa sofa sa sala. Nagpasalamat ako sa driver at nagbayad. Nang maisara ko ang pinto ay may narinig akong bulong...

"Im sorry baby. Im really sorry baby....." Lumapit ako dahil nahihirapan akong marinig siya.

"I miss you. PLease forgive me." Nanlaki ang mata ko sa naririnig ko.

"Andrea....."
