Chapter 4~Junkyard

Sorry I haven't updated in a while me and my friend DJ are getting ready for Comic Con and we're really excited! we decided to go as Amethyst and Pearl

(I'm gonna be Amethyst)

And I another reason is because I just got the new game Night in The Woods...well...I think it's new anyway...but I could be just a dingus right now and it's been out for a while...WHO KNOWS...on with the chapter!

Y/n's POV

Tears were running down her face. Adam gently smiled at her. She then ran to him and jumped into his arms. Adam gently ran his fingers through her hair to comfort her. I smiled gently at them.

It was good to see Enid so happy.

"W-Where have you been all these years...you...you were...I-I thought." She sobbed."Ill explain it later." Adam said.

Jamie was smiling at Adam and Enid from the kitchen. She was still sitting on the counter. I could sense that Clementine was also smiling.

Enid pulled away from there hug. Kali's face lit up with joy. She ran to Adam who held his arms open. She hugged him tight."Adam!" She said happily."Hey Bean!" He said. I smiled at the nickname. Adam used to always call her Bean when she was little.

He let go of her."I'm really tired...can I explain later?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and huffed."Fine." I said."Come on girls...and boy!" I said. Clementine got up from the couch and handed me Fiona. She picked up Nico and grabbed Francis hand.

"Hey Y/n can I talk to you?" Clem asked."Sure Clem!" I said.

"Meet me at my house." She said. I nodded.

I took Kali, Jamie, and Fiona home really quick."Jamie your in charge I need to go talk to Clem really quick." I said. She nodded.

I ran outside towards Clem's house. She was currently sitting on the porch. Leaning on the railing of the stairs to the porch.

I sat down on the opposite side and did the same."So what did you want to talk to me about?" I asked. She looked really hesitant to tell me."Rick assigned me a new mission and...it says I have to be accompanied by one other individual." She said. My face went blank."One individual huh?" I asked. She nodded."Who's it gonna be?" I asked."Well I was wondering...would you want to come with me?" She asked."Clem...Id love to...but what about--." She cut me off."They have Carl Y/n they will be fine." She said."I don't know Clem." I said."Come on...it will be fun!" She said. I thought about it for a little."Ok why not!" I said."Yay!" She said."We leave first thing in the morning." She said. I nodded.

~~~next morning~~~

"Do you have to go Y/n?" Kali asked."Yeah I do." I said. She sighed."Why?" Jamie asked."Girls Carl will take great care if you I promise!" I said. I kissed both of there heads."Ill see you girls in two weeks." I said."We love you Y/n!" They both said."I love you too girls!" I said. I hugged them both tight."Y/n...it's time to go." Clem said. I nodded.

We both left the gates of Alexandria.

"So Clem...what exactly are we looking for?" I asked. She sighed."This is gonna sound brutal but...we have to find weak survivors and loot them of there goods...and we have to find junkyards." She said. I nodded.

~~~a couple hours later~~~

"Hey Y/n why don't we split up and look around for a shelter of some sort...it's getting dark." She said. I nodded.

I began to look around for some sort of shelter. I then ran into a junkyard. I pulled out my daggers just in case.

I then heard movement."Who's there?" I asked. I saw a van that had a bunch of supplies in it. I looted it a little bit.

I started to walk around the old junkyard when I then stepped on something. I looked to see what it was. It was a pair of headphones and a cassette tape. I picked them up. The batteries were dead."Damnit." I said.

I kept walking around. I then found a vehicle with a little girl that looked to be 12 or 13. She looked terrified. I looked at her very closely. She had light brown hair tied back in a bun, a pink jacket, and blue jeans.

She looked at me terrified. She covered her face with her arms as if I was going to kill her. I sighed then huffed. I'm not bad enough to kill a little girl."Come out of the car now." I ordered. She nodded and got out of the car.

"What's your business being here girl?" I asked. She lowered her head and bawled her fists."I have a name you know." She snapped. I smirked at her."Playing tough now eh...I suggest that you don't get tough now unless you want to get killed...and besides...you never told me your name." I said.

She lowered her head again ashamed of what she said."I'm sorry." She said."Mariana." She said."Mariana...really...I don't really like it...I'll just call you Mari." I said. She growled at me."How bout you?" She asked keeping her anger. "Y/n...pleasure." I said.

"Ok...Mari...what's your business being here?" I asked."My family and I made a quick stop here for supplies...and we decided to stay the night here...then we got attacked by strange men...they took my uncle Javi." She said.

"What happened to the rest of your family?" I asked."My brother is with my step-mom they should be somewhere around here." She said."Ok...come on." I said. She looked at me in confusion.

"What?" She asked."Where are we going?" She asked."To look for your brother and step-mom." I said."What about my uncle?" She asked.

"My friend is somewhere around here she'll probably find him." I said."Are you sure?" She asked."I'm sure." I said."Now what is your Brother and step-moms names?" I asked."Gabe and Kate." She said."Ok." I said.

Clementines POV

I was walking around looking for a shelter."Damn me and Y/n probably wondered far enough...I should probably start looking for her." I said. I then saw a truck coming in the distance. It had the New Frontier symbol on it. 

The New Frontier was one of our worst enemies. My face filled with anger and hatred. But I aslo really needed the truck so I could go find Y/n. AJ then came to my mind. I got separated from AJ and found Teresa and Mike. They took me in. But I still miss AJ.

 I shook the thought from my mind and thought about How I was to stop the truck. I walked over to a close by tree. I pulled out my axe and started chopping a tree. The tree then fell making the truck swerve on the road.

It crashed into another tree. I ran over to see how much damage was made. I saw a man holding a gun up at the driver of the truck. He was wearing a baseball shirt. He then put his gun down and let the man get away. 

My face filled with anger. I put my gun to his back."Drop your weapon!" I ordered."Shit." Was the first thing he said. He then attempted to turn around."Don't even think about it!" I said and kept the gun aimed at his back."I don't want any trouble I simply want to get back to my family." He said.

"Well then I suggest you stop talking." I said."Can you please help me we were at junkyard and these men got me and took me away from my family." He said."That must have been where Y/n went." I said."Who?" He asked."No one none of your business...I'll take you there." I said.

"Thanks...my name Javi." He said."Why are you telling me your name?" I asked very annoyed."It's good for us to trust each other if we're going to be together for a while." He said. I sighed then huffed."...Clementine..." I said."Nice too meet you Clementine." He said."Yeah yeah." I said
