Everything went wrong

Mark's POV
The next morning we woke up early to make breakfast. Jack was still a little frightened about last night. But he's doing a bit better. Everyone sat in the living room watching tv. Ethan and Jack were cooking for us. Of course we wanted to help but they insisted they wanted to do it on their own.

Tyler and I would go check on them every once and a while just to see if they were ok. We didn't want to seem clingy or overprotective but we wanted to know if they were ok.

Soon breakfast was finished and everyone had their share. Once we were done it was about 7:40 AM. We had about 10 minutes to get to the busses. We decided that we would get to the bus stop early just for the first day.

Once we were at school we looked over our schedules. Jack and I had 4 classes together, English, PE, Science, and History. I had a couple classes with everyone else but Jack was my first priority. I told everyone who had Jack in their classes without me, to watch over him and protect him no matter what.

We were walking to our first period which was History. We waited for the teacher to open the door. But then again, we were here early. So I decided to talk with Jack a bit. He had seemed a little... off today. I dunno what had gotten into him but ever since he had checked his phone, at 6AM. I know he was freaked out but when he checked his phone again he didn't seem to talk to us. I was worried but I didn't want to be pushy.

"So, are you gonna be ok..?"

"Yeah, I'm fine Mark.."

"Are you sure? You haven't talked to us since like 5AM.."

"I said I'm fine Mark." He snaps at me. I jumped back slightly by his sudden attitude.

I looked around to see if anyone was looking. Luckily everyone was soaked in whatever was on their phone. I held Jack's waist from behind and pulled him into my chest.

But instead of hugging me back like usual he slightly pushed me away. I gave him a concerned look but he just shook his head.

"Look I'm just.. not in the mood today.. ok, I just.. don't feel v-very well.. I just need some space.."

I nodded. "Ok, but just come to me when you wanna talk..."

Jack's POV
He really doesn't know. He really doesn't understand. How does he not remember?! Ugh I just hate everything right now. I don't want to tell him but I know I should.

The day went on like any other. Learning about rules and expectations and what we will be learning throughout the year. Being yelled at by hall monitors and teachers and being all out bored all day. But then came lunch. But I didn't want to eat. Luckily, I didn't have 5th period with anyone I knew. Except... that one girl.. I recognize her.

What was her name? Alison? Amanda? Angelia? Alyssa? Alyssa!! That's her name. I completely forgot about her. She was so over obsessed with Mark. I wonder if she still is.

Whatever, she can have him, he doesn't love me anyways. Not after today.

I started walking towards the bathrooms when the bell rang. I didn't spot any of my friends so I wouldn't be caught. Good. There was no one in the bathrooms either. Better. I walked into a stall in the back and locked the door.
