21: My whole world

**2 months later**
"So you guys are really getting married huh?" My mom asked as we sat down for a family dinner.

"Yes we are. He's stuck with me and I'm stuck with him" I replied smiling at Shawn.

"Shawn I swear on my life if you ever run out on my grandson or my baby girl again I will cut your ass!!" My dad scolded.

"Sir I was dumb for that. My son needs a father and my beautiful girl needs me too" Shawn told my dad.

I squeezed his hand and really felt good about this.

"Ow!" I said grabbing my stomach.

"Baby you okay?" Shawn asked putting his hand over mine.

"Yeah Landon's just kicking a lot" I said feeling really uncomfortable.

"Maybe we should just get home"

I nodded in agreement and we left. The pain only got worse and I began panicking. I'm only seven months pregnant! Flashbacks of Violet hit me hard. This seriously can't be happening again. Shawn got us home but no matter what I did the pain just got worse and worse. I felt a gush of water go down my leg and that's when I really panicked.

"Baby!" I said.

"What's going on!?"

"My water just broke!!!" I cried loudly.

"MOVE IT MENDES!!!" Destinee yelled pushing Shawn out of the way and coming to my side.

"Des I'm so scared!!!!" I sobbed.

"I know. Okay first things first, Mendes get the baby bag and pull the car in the driveway!! I'll get her cleaned up!" Des ordered.

Shawn just looked at her and that was a mistake

"COME ON MENDES!!! MOVE IT!!!!" She shouted louder.

Yep, that's ma Bestfriend and my drill sergeant. Anyways, Shawn did as Des instructed and soon we were all off to the hospital.

"This hurts so bad" I groaned.

"Just breathe baby" Shawn said rubbing my hand.

"Sweetie, I love you but get your fucking hands off me!" I shouted.

I felt bad but I was in so much pain.
A few hours have passed and the doctor says I'm starting to dilate and I'm really scared.

"How you doing baby?" Shawn asked.

"I'm really really scared" I told him.

"Baby I know you are but if our boy is anything like us he'll fight to the finish" Shawn said kissing my shaking hand.

I was so so scared.

      After I hung up with Ava's parents I paced around the waiting room. My Bestfriend was having her baby two months early. My god child! I'm trying to be strong for her but I'm scared too. I've heard about what happened when Violet passed and I don't want that for her at all. She's my sister basically and I can't lose her.

"Okay Des, pull yourself together! Be there for your Bestfriend in her time of need!" I told myself.

I got myself in order and walked into Ava's room. I could tell she was nervous and very scared.

"Hey, I called everyone and they are coming by tomorrow. They want you and Shawn and I to have this experience together" I told Ava smiling.

"Des what if I lose the baby?" She asked.

I crawled in bed next to Ava and comforted my Bestfriend. What? To us its normal.

"That won't happen Av. You are getting a second chance. I know it"

"Okay Ava. It's time" the doctor said entering the room.

"You got this babez" I told her.

"Let's do this baby" Shawn smiled at her.

This was really happening. It's now or never....
