Tyler's Pov
"Please Faith, please forgive me. I do stupid things when I'm mad, I won't do it again, I promise," I begged, hoping for a response. Nothing. I sighed, thinking of the worst situations. Will she ever like me? What if she's terrified of me? Forever?
"Please?" I ask one last time, on the verge of tears. To my big surprise, she collapsed onto me and buried her face in the crook of my neck. At first I was shocked, but I reacted quickly by hugging her back and slowly rocking her, slowly soothing her to sleep.
"Do you forgive me?" A asked for confirmation. I felt her nod, which made me smile. Her tail swished around happily, as I carried her to the bed and gently placed her down. Forget changing clothes at this point, I honestly couldn't care less about that. She instantly buried herself in my thick duvet, still flinching at the thunder. I hopped in and wrapped my arms around her, while mumbling apologies. She buried her face into my chest, falling asleep almost immediately. I kissed the top of her head and whispered her a soft goodnight, as if she was aware of it. Funny saying that, she answered by mumbling something or other.

Ok, Tyler told me everything. I forgive both of them, but I do agree with Tyler that she has been getting distracted and off topic a lot since we adopted her. I want to get to the bottom of this, so does Tyler. I peeked out of the kitchen to see her sitting on the couch, watching tv. She seemed very focused in the show that was currently playing.
"Ok, let's talk to her," I said as quiet as possible, without whispering though. Tyler nodded. We walked in together, and on the way I picked up the remote and switch off the tv, so she wouldn't use that as a distraction. She must of noticed us walking in, because she seemed startled when I flicked it off. She warily eyed both of us as she we sat on either side of you, quickly managing to avoid eye contact.
"Ok, Faith. We need a serious talk with you," Tyler sternly informed her. She nodded her head and swallowed, as if she already knew what was going to happen.
"We need to know why you keep... getting distracted and spacing out of conversations," he continued. We both silently waited for an answer.
"Well I h-have this t-thing c-called...," she began, before having second thoughts about telling us.
"It's ok, you can talk to us, we are you parents, Faith," I reassured her.
"I-I have t-this t-thing ca-called ADHD...," she hesitantly spoke. Me and Tyler couldn't help but to giggle a bit. We both thought is was something much more scary or serious or something. She looks up at us, confused.
"W-why are yo-you laughing?" She started to get a bit anxious.
"I thought it was something much worse," I calmed her down a bit.
"So your not m-mad at me?" She choked out.
"Why would we be mad at you? It's not your fault," Tyler explained. She weakly smiled at us.
At least we know why she's so spacey in conversations.
We thought we knew exactly why.
