It was 6:30 when we were finished with everything and mom should be here in

Three...

Two...

One.......

Zero...

Minus one...

*ding dong* there she is. I marched my way to the front door and hugged the person who was standing in front of me with her beautiful smile plastered on her face. But as I was hugging her, I saw another person standing right behind her.

Another person with a not so beautiful smile.

Another person with a not so good looking face.

The last person that I'd want to see before I die. Scratch that I don't even think I'd want to see him even once but I knew I had to if I want to get rid of him. This is going to be a looong night.

"I miss you, sweetheart." She said as I pulled away from her embrace.

"I miss you too, mom. And hey, John. Didn't expect you to be here." Literally. I literally wasn't expecting him to come at all.

"Hey, Lilly. You can call me David. That'll be better since it's my name. But anyway, thanks for the welcome." He said trying to be polite but I just faked a smile and walked in. Yeah, like I care what his name is. His name can be Ryan Reynolds and I still won't care. Unless he looks like him...okay, no.

"Dad! Mom's here!" I shouted and he soon came down with his best shirt and best smile which soon gone as he saw that jerk face standing beside my mom, placing his arm around my mom's waist.

"Hey, Patricia." My mom smiled and pulled my dad for a hug. David's face was full with jealousy and disgust but everyone knows I enjoyed it oh so much.

Soon enough I heard a flush coming from the bathroom and then Kyle came out and all eyes were on him who was trying hard to zip his pants. I was laughing so hard when my mom walked to him and pulled him for a hug.

"Nice to see you again, Kyle. How are your parents?" My mom asked him.

"They're good. Thanks, Patricia." I could see pink blush stained on Kyle's cheeks and I couldn't help but laugh harder.

"Let's eat. I'm starving." Travis surprised us as he made his way down the stairs. He must've seen Jerk Face. He too has never been a big fan of him. Well, who has?

He took a seat followed by my mom who took a seat next to him. Dad took a seat on the end of the table next to Travis. This is bad. It's like dad's purposefully making David to sit next to mom when he shouldn't.

I guess the master should do something about it.

I ran to get a glass of water and accidentally tripped on a chair then there, in front of my eyes, is a perfectly ruined chair. I've never felt so happy to see a mess before.

"Oops..."

"Lilly..."

"Sorry, mom. It was an accident." Damn right, it was.

"I'll just sit on the couch if that's okay." Stupid Kyle!

"No! Kyle! Please sit with me! I invited you here anyway so I have to treat the guest nicely, huh?" I said. He eyed me confusedly for quiet a moment and hesitantly took a seat opposite of my mom while I took a seat next to him opposite of my brother who was trying to hold his laughter and so was I.

Travis gave me a knowing look with a smirk and I did the same to him.

"I guess I'll...take the couch." No, David. I was hoping for you to go to McDonald's or something. That would've been better.
