Horses deserve a great name. Sometimes when you see a horse the perfect name might just pop into your head. Or maybe not. Remember, your horse will have a "barn" or regular name and a special show name that's longer and fancier, reserved for shows. The barn name should be one or two syllables, as it's short and easy to say, while show names can be elaborate. Below are some good ideas for horse names. Keep in mind that Orange Fanta might be a better name for a chestnut pony than a jet-black Friesan, just like Vanilla Sundae would fit a gray better than it would a bay.
