Beep, beep beep, beep the sound of the alarm clock slapped me awake as the thought of Hannah instantly came to my mind. my mom was downstairs making breakfast. as I walked down the stairs my cat was laying in the middle of the step so I reached down to pet it and my foot slipped off the step. rolling downhill I tried to grap on to something but couldn't see. I opened my eyes to see my mom stairing at me.
"Geeze Matt be careful! Are you ok?!"

" I'm fine just a little bit of a rude awakening I'd say"

"Ok breakfast is ready" she said as she put the plate in the table.

"So what did you get River for his birthday to day?" I could feel my eyes pop out of my head and I started choking on my bacon

"That's today?!" my mom looked at me like I was stupid.

"Of course it's today! we've talked about for two weeks!" I put my hand over my face and shook my head. I can't cancel on Hannah but I also can't cancel on my little cousins birthday party....

"Can I bring my friend?" she looks at me and shakes her head.

"You've already made plans haven't you!" she shouted in disbelief.

"We'll.....you see.........i met this girl.....and....."

"Matthew Espinosa spit it out!"

"FineetthisgirlandireallylikeherandweMadeplansforgoIngouttoday" my mom looked at me with a confused face.

"English?" I sighed and told her everything she looked shocked.a hughe smile on her face appeared.

"My baby is in love!" she gushed. "What does she look like?is she pretty?when can I meet her?!" I looked at her surprised

"Today if you want" I think the smile got bigger.

"Ok we'll I'm going to go get ready" she sounded excited but believe me so was i.

As I hopped into the shower my phone started to ring. as I hop out really quick and take a peak I see Hannah calling but it wasent on a regular phone it was on FaceTime !!!! not wanting to miss her call I awnser the phone and point to the camera to the celing.

"Hello Matt are you there?''
"Ya I'm here."
"Oh I couldn't see your face" I wrapped my towel around my waist and picked up my phone and made a stupid face into the camera
"Can you see me now?" I said as she started laughing.

"Yes I can see you." she smiled and my heart dropped to my stomach. "so what time are you coming?"

"What time is good for you"I asked as she started to think her lips twisted to the side.

"Is 1:30 to late?" She asked

"No 1:30 is perfect... oh and my mom wants to meet you!" Her cheeks turned red.

"Funny my mom wants to meet you to!." she said I think I started blushing.

"Ok we'll can we meet at Starbucks and I will drive my car over and my mom will driver hers I've so when were don meeting each others parents we can go somewhere in my car and our parents can chill or go home or whatever?"

"That sounds perfect I will go tell my mom right now!" I can already tell today's going to be a great day. I'm just waiting for everything to fall into place.
