“Sam, can you hear me?”
“Yeah what’s wrong babe?”
“I’m pregnant, Sam.” I cried into the phone.
“What?” He asked, clearly horrified.”
“‘I’m gonna have a baby.” I cried.
“Who’s?”
“I don’t know. I’ve slept with James since you left-”
“What?” He sounded hurt.
“I know what you did with Alexia.” I shot back.
“What are you talking about?”
“I know you’ve been screwing her.” I whined.
“Babe, I was a virgin until you came around. Your the only girl I’ve ever had sex with.”
“Sam, if it’s not yours, I’m sorry.” I pleaded.
“I don’t care who’s baby your having- I’ll be the father to it. I’m coming home, Hanna.”
Two days later, he arrived home.
“I missed you so much!” I ran into his arms and we started to make out right there in the kitchen. “You guys are so adorable.” James smiled. Sam narrowed his eyes.
“You better stay away from Hanna- we’re engaged.” I nearly gasped at this but managed to play along and be convincing.
“Fuckin’ hell.” James murmured.
“I do remember Hanna saying how much better I was in bed, though. I don’t think she can deny that.” Sam’s dark eyes flicked towards me, and I ran upstairs.
“Just tell me the truth.” Sam’s voice came from the door.
“I only said hat to feed his pride- he’s too rough. Your sweet and passionate, and it’s love making with you- with James it’s just pointless sex.” I cried into his shoulder.
“Hanna, what I said to Ben was serious. Please, please Hanna, marry me?” He pulled out a ring and I gasped at it.
“Yes! Oh God, Yes!” I flung my arms around him.
