It was happening again, the insults, the shouting...the arguing. Only this time, your Mother and Father decided to do so in the midst of a famous Stark party.
You were thankful for the loud live music that thudded throughout the room, covering their screams as they fought like cat and dog.
Guests hadn't seemed to notice yet to your surprise, after all, your Mother and Father were the hosts of the party.

A tired sigh left your lips, E/C eyes cast down at your heeled feet as you brushed out the stray crease in your gorgeous F/C dress. You looked back to the two, finding your Mothers face to be growing red as anger coursed through her and even your Father who was usually calm and collected seemed to be looking a little red.

You swiftly walked across the room, avoiding all physical contact with on going celebrators as you finally came upon the grand piano that was situated in the centre of the room. You ran your finger across the pristine keys before taking a seat on the bench and heaving a deep sigh. You raised your gaze onto the lead vocalist of the live band your father had hired. He instantly locked into your stare and with a shared nod, the band brought their piece to a close.

Confused murmurs waved throughout the room after that until one by one, attention was brought to your lone figure that sat by the beautiful instrument.
You stretched your finger outs, looking to your mother and cocking your head to the side to motion her over a small, knowing smile slipped onto her red face that was covered in tears.

You began to play, eyes closed as the music and your mothers voice enveloped you. Whilst she sang, you allowed memories, both good and bad, to swim through your head.

"You're going to continue this work know the risks that it brings and that your daughter may grow up to not know who her father was?!"

The music ceased to a close as you hit the final note and your Mother sang the last line. Cheers erupted throughout the room but all you cared about was your Father who ran to you both with tears in his eyes as he pulled you both as close as possible.

"I'm sorry" he breathed, arms snaked  around your waist as well as your Mothers.

"So am I" she whispered back.

"I love you both, and I never want to lose either of you" he sobbed, causing a small smile to form on your lips as you nuzzled your face into his chest.

"We love you too" you mumbled.
