After we ate and the feast was over, we went back to our new house in the victor's village. I was surprised to find out that PeaceKeepers had helped my mom and Prim move the little bit of things we had in to the home, and apparently someone had helped them figure out how to shop on the tv, and they had bought a few nice dresses.

I was exhausted to say the least. But it seemed as if I was the only one. It was getting late and I had my share of visitors but I was avoiding going outside to make sure I didn't run in to the Mellarks.

It was around nine at night when my mom and Prim politely asked everyone to leave.

"I'm heading to bed." I said walking up the stairs and down the hall and in to my room. I didn't bother to change before I lied down. That's when I started crying.

I cried over the people I killed, the people I injured, and for their families. I could only imagine the pain they were going through.

I eventually stopped crying after what felt like years, because the tears were gone and it was just sobbing. But when I was done I fell in to a restless sleep.

I woke up screaming not long after that. I sat up, covered in a cold sweat, trying to make myself breathe again.

In my dream Cato and the careers had tied me to a tree and were throwing matches at me and around me that had set leaves and grass o fire making me choke on the smoke.

I stood up to go get water, because my throat was sore from crying and screaming. I walked in to the hallway expecting to go downstairs but instead running in to Cato.

"Hey are you alright, I heard you crying and was going to come up, but you stopped and I thought maybe you fell asleep again. I was just coming to check on you."

I smiled looking down at the floor. I noticed I had been drifting away from Cato and didn't want to be, so what I did next was complete impulse.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled his face close to mine, "Thank you." I said before I leaned up and put my lips on his.

I woke up in my unfamiliar bed next to a familiar person. I stood up to go get more water since my throat was still sore and scratchy while I recalled the night before.

After we pulled away, breathless and smiling I went to get the water I initially stood up for. I went back in to my room where we, talked, kissed, and shared stories no one knew but us.

We had fallen asleep around three in the morning so I had no idea  why I was up so early. I got the water and went back upstairs to my room. After I had drank some of it I cuddled close to Cato again and fell asleep.

"Kattyniss..." I heard Cato saying in a sing song voice, lightly shaking me. I smiled sleepily. "Yes, Cato?" I laughed quietly at how deep my voice sounded. "Get up, I have something I need to tell you. I yawned and stretched. 'Okay.." I said. "Is there any water in the cup over there?" I he shook his head. "Nope." I sighed and went to sit up. He stopped me. "I can get you some." Still feeling tired I gave in easier than usual. "Alright."

I sat up and moved to the end of my bed where the window was. I looked out to see all the clouds rolling by in the blue sky. He came back and handed me the water. "Thank you." I chugged about half of it in one drink.

"Now what was it you wanted to tell me?"

He smiled the biggest smile I'd seen in a while. "My parents called me. My mother to be exact, But they want to meet you, and Cally can't wait. So please, will you come with me to District 2?" I didn't know what to say. I was slightly afraid of going, afraid what would happen and what people wpuld think of us- Cato and me- but I didn't want to tell him no. He looked so excited to see his sister again, and I knew how that felt.
