''Good morning Edward.'', ''Good morning Madeline...'' Edward said casually with a tired expression, the next morning at the adult goods shop, ''Didn't sleep well last night?'' Madeline asked when seeing the blonde go behind the counter and yawn, ''No... I had too much on my mind.'' He answered yawning again with a tired stressed expression, ''Edward.'' A new voice said making the blonde pause mid yawn when seeing it was Roy's friend from yesterday. ''...It's you...'', ''Please just call me Riza.'' Riza said with a flustered smile seeing Edward look at her unsurely but flustered as well, ''You seem reluctant... I just wanted to apologize for Roy's behavior with you yesterday, that's all.'' She said simply with a small laugh, ''Sorry... I'm just not used to pretty women talking to me...'' Edward said making Riza blush but laugh, ''You don't mean that...'' She said seeing Edward look down realizing Edward had a low self esteem about himself, ''Ah... I see...''. ''I actually came here to ask you something. I was wondering if you would accept my offer of going out with me over coffee? To make up for Roy of course.'' Riza said seeing Edward look at her with his golden eyes meeting her brown eyes, ''As much as I'd like to, I can't... I'm going out later tonight.'' He said, ''That's fine, I asked suddenly.'', ''How about Friday?'' Edward quickly asked seeing the female blonde look at him for a moment before nodding with a smile, ''Tomorrow? That's fine.'' She replied. ''...You know you remind me of my roommate...'' Edward started when seeing Riza jot down her number on a piece of paper that he had on the glass counter, looking over her at how similar she was to Winry, ''Winry?'' Riza cut in looking up when she finished writing her number down seeing Edward look at her surprised, ''I know her, I also know your brother Alphonse... We're acquaintances.'' She explained casually. ''Ah Riza... It's a surprise to see you here without Roy.'' Madeline said when seeing Riza speak to Edward, ''I just wanted to introduce myself properly to Edward, it was impossible to do that yesterday with Roy...'' Riza said with a nervous flustered smile seeing the other woman nod and smile, ''Well, tell Roy I said Hi when you get the chance to, okay?'' She said walking off, ''I will.'' Riza said after giving her attention back to the blonde. ''Edward, you're too young to be having a bad self esteem about yourself... So if you ever want to talk or just go out, feel free to call me or message me okay?'' Riza said with a smile seeing The blonde look at her with a worried look in his golden eyes, ''Sure, of course...'', ''Lighten up, see you tomorrow, alright?'' Riza finished with a wave and smile leaving making Edward sight to himself looking down at the number. Though Edward worked part time, it still felt like a long day when he left heaving a heavy sigh in relief, "At least there was no sign of him...'' Edward thought as he stretched his arms making a face thinking about later on, ''Maybe a few drinks will help me...'' He thought with a heavy sigh before slipping his headphones in and heading back home, ''Riza.'' A voice called making Riza turn half way across the crosswalk seeing Roy, ''What were you doing in that direction?'', ''Introducing myself properly.'' Riza said simply to the raven haired male. ''...Maybe you should stop drinking...'' Both Winry and Alphonse said to Edward later that night that they were all out at the bar seeing the blonde look at them flushed but poker faced, ''Eh? I'm not even drinking a lot.'' Edward said never noticing Roy was in the bar with a friend, who looked over when he heard Edward's voice a bit surprised but smirk, ''I didn't take Edward as the drinking type... That's interesting~''. The raven haired male observed on seeing what appeared to be his younger brother and friend gesturing for the bartender to switch his drink with a glass of water, ''Roy?'', ''Hmm?'' Making Roy turn to his friend who looked concerned, ''What's got your attention?'', ''Sorry Havoc... He did, the one I was just talking about.'' He said pointing to Edward's direction, ''You mean the kid? You mean he's here right now?'' He asked glancing over to see the gold eyed blonde surprising him at his pretty appearance. ''Wow...'', ''Pretty isn't he?~'', ''Yeah... He could easily be confused for a women with that long hair of his...'' Havoc said with a nervous laugh, ''Don't let his appearance fool you, he has a really bad temper.'' Roy added in, ''Really now?'', ''Mhm...'', ''Well by the looks of it, he seems wasted... He can't handle his liquor well, you can tell he's going to have a really bad hangover tomorrow.'' Jean said when seeing the blonde put a hand over his mouth after he sipped at the glass of water making a face saying something to his group. ''Ah... Let's see how he works tomorrow-?'' Roy started but paused when he heard his name come out of Edward's mouth, ''Roy is a stupid womanizer! I wish I could give him a piece of my god damn mind!'', ''We never said anything about him! Let's just go home, going out drinking was a terrible idea!'' Both Winry and Al said grabbing the blonde who had tripped over his foot and fell on his face, ''...Not going to lie... He isn't wrong about that...'' Havoc said when Roy looked at him with a 'Really' expression. ''Brother what's gotten into you today?-!'' Alphonse started when they had walked through the door of their small place, but paused when Edward suddenly shoved him away and ran to the bathroom making Al sigh and look over to Winry, who just looked at him concerned, ''Something must be on his mind, for him to drink that much?'' She said pausing with a cringe when hearing at how much Edward was throwing up. ''Oh boy... I'm going to make him a tea or something...'' Winry said excusing herself to the kitchen leaving the younger brother turning to the bathroom with a sigh walking over, and knocking lightly on the door when it fell silent, ''Brother... Winry is going to make you a tea...'', ''I don't want it.'', ''But-'', ''I said I don't want it!'' Edward said making Al jump up at the sudden tone before hearing Edward puke again making a face, ''Oh boy...''. Riza who was at home in her kitchen drinking a tea, with Hayate next to her leg was about to sip at her cup, but paused when feeling her phone go off glancing down to see it was a text message from Alphonse, ''Hmm? A message from Alphonse?'' She said putting her cup down and grabbing her phone to check the message, ''Hmm?... Edward's acting strange?'' She said surprised since she recalled that he wasn't acting strange one bit earlier, only when she had went over to talk to him, he had acted shy but nothing out of the ordinary, ''Hmm?... Maybe this has to do with Roy?...''.
