A/N: Hey guys, I don't know if I like this chapter or not... Hm, I really hope you guys are liking this fic and if you have any suggestions or ideas then please comment them and I'll see what I can do! Also, I mention Tanya, the lead Bella at the beginning of Pitch Perfect, in this chapter and I don't actually know if that is her name but I'm too lazy to google it so we're just gonna go with Tanya.

-1am, in the Bella house-

The clock in the hallway chimed 1am, but no one apart from the small brunette and the bubbly ginger heard it because they'd all fallen asleep. To be fair, the two girls knew they should have gone to sleep along with the others but they were still revelling in the buzz of the alcohol that was coursing through their systems.

At 12 Aubrey did her famous Bella rehearsal speech and told the girls they should really go to bed because once again "we have Bella rehearsals at 8am sharp!". At least Beca thought that's what she was supposed to say, but it came out in slurs and giggles from the alcohol the groups of girls had consumed.

Fat Amy had been the one to find it. The girls were watching psycho and right before the shower scene Fat Amy came running in with some she'd found in the kitchen, half scaring the girls to death. The bottles were bled dry by the Bella's and the films were forgotten. The girls, or at least Aubrey, thought it would be fun to have a "girl group bonding session", which Beca really didn't want to have. They ended up just speaking about time at Barden, lessons they were taking (or in Beca's case skiving), and the previous Bella's who Aubrey and Chloe had had the delight of performing with. Beca thought back to what Aubrey had said, "Yeah, Tanya was a right bitch. So, controlling and putting so much pressure on us." At this point Beca burst out laughing because it had sounded like Aubrey was describing herself before Aubrey could ask what was funny all nine girls, including Aubrey, were laughing.

That was an hour ago and now the Bella's were asleep, well most of them. Fat Amy and Cynthia Rose had crashed on the sofa, as Beca had moved onto the floor at some point during the night or did she fall? She couldn't remember. Fat Amy was mumbling something about dingo's in her sleep. Lily was curled up beside a plant that was in the hallway. Aubrey had fallen asleep on the stairs, which didn't look very comfy but no one had the urge to move her, Beca assumed she was trying to get to her room before she'd passed out on the stairway. Jessica and Ashley were asleep on the floor of the kitchen, next to each other, whilst Denise was tucked away in the corner near the fridge. Finally, Stacie had crashed on the bathroom floor, hugging a towel for comfort.

"Hey, do we have anymore wine?" Beca's eyes darted around the room but was only met with the sight of empty bottles.

"Nope! I think we drank it all sugarplum." Chloe beamed back at her.

"Sugarplum? Seriously Beale."

"Yeah, I mean come on, you're small and fairy like. Why not?" This comment ended in Beca lightly punching Chloe on the arm. They started giggling, but quickly clasped their hands over their mouths when they heard Cynthia-Rose stirring and moving close to Fat Amy.

"Someone looks comfy." Beca mentioned as they both watched Cynthia rest her head on Amy's shoulder.

The fiery redhead was sat with her legs crossed looking at Beca's ankle. Beca was sat with her legs stretched out and both girls were leaning with their backs on the sofa. "Does it still hurt?"

"No, not really. I told you I would be fine." Beca looked down at her ankle and you could see the swelling had gone down a chunk since earlier that afternoon.

"Where are the peas? You should still have them on your ankle to make sure the swelling doesn't flare up during the night." Chloe got up and starting searching the room.

"Don't you remember, we dared Amy to see how many of them she could eat." Again, the girls started giggling and Chloe joined Beca back on the floor.

"Oh yeah, she did pretty well though. I mean she got through ¾ before she said she had to throw up." Chloe cleared her throat. "Urm, Beca. Can I ask you something?"

Beca had always hated that question because every time it was asked it was usually followed up with something bad or something Beca didn't want to talk about. "Urm, do you have to Chlo, I mean I'm feeling pretty tired-" Beca gave out a fake yawn but it didn't sway the freckled faced ginger in any way.

"Come on. It's nothing bad, I promise." Chloe rested a hand on Beca's arm and smiled at her.

Beca reluctantly let Chloe ask her question but not before stating "Okay, but if I have to kill you and hide the body, I'm not taking any of the blame." Chloe laughed before straightening up.

"No, I was just wondering. Well ya see earlier on, before the Bella's came, we were talking and you were just about to say something when Amy walked in and you shut up. What was you gonna say?"

Beca froze up, she wasn't in the mood to go back into her past again. She didn't even know what made her do it then. Wait, no, that is a lie. She did know. It's because this was Chloe, the only person who she would ever consider letting inside the walls. But she couldn't, that was too dangerous. The walls went back up and they were staying up because otherwise she ran the risk of getting hurt.

"Oh, that, it was nothing. I'm actually-", another fake yawn, "-I'm gonna go to sleep. I'm tired." Just as Beca was sitting herself up to settle on the sofa she heard Chloe erupt.

"Why do you always do this? You were doing so well earlier; you were finally opening up to someone. That isn't a bad thing ya know. Why can't you just tell me?" For most of the sentence Chloe's words were as strong and fiery as her hair but the last sentence died on her lips and sounded like defeat.

As much as Beca wanted to reassure Chloe and let her know everything was okay, and possible let her in, she didn't. "Because it doesn't matter. It's not important Chlo. Look it's late, we need to sleep otherwise Aubrey will kill us in the morning. Let's just move on, forget about it. Like I said it's not important. Night." Beca got up onto the sofa but just before reaching the edge Chloe pulled her back down, luckily she had a pillow under her bum to cushion her fall.

"Beca, no, I'm not letting you go. We both know that reason is bullshit, since when did you care what Aubrey did and said when it came to the Bella's? You're just trying to put your walls back up so you don't have to explain yourself but not this time Mitchell. Why can't you tell me?"

"Because you'll leave!"
