Bella's pov
i run my fingers through her hair and pull each strand to where i want it, french platting Renemee's hair is one of my favourite things to do and a calming act we've shared together since she was little. while at first i may have gotten a little stressed over not being able to do it, my graceful vampire abilities soon kicked in and now i could complete the task with my eyes closed. It was Alice who suggested i try to begin with and now its a time i look forward to each time she asks. its not often were alone together, we try of course to take trips and days out as much as we can but being in such a big family means she likes to be around everyone a lot of the time, and who am i to complain.

"done" i smile letting go of the twists of hair and letting her go over to the mirror to inspect my handywork. ''thanks momma' she says gleefully skipping off into the kitchen. We're at the Cullens house now as me and Edward are going away for a few days and Renesmee will be staying here. its our second wedding anniversary tomorrow and so we are going to isle Esme to celebrate, I'm hoping it'll become a nice tradition and while i know Edward would love to whisk me off all over the world for now I'm happy going to our own peaceful little paradise.

originally we were going to leave her with jake but he was work for 2 of the days and is always welcome at the cullens anyway so it seems better that Renemee stay where she is and he come to visit as normal. "ready love?' Edward asks coming in with our bags in hand. "Yeah" I sigh following him out into the corridor and watching through the open door of the kitchen as Renesmee sits and talks to Esme while she cooks. "Come on she'll be fine" he reassures me. "Mmm" I mumble in response.
This will be the longest i have ever been away from her, for our first anniversary I couldn't bare to go but Edward managed to convince me this year. "We're leaving" he calls causing an array of goodbyes from around the house, only Alice, Esme and Ness come out to see us off. "Bye baby" I say pulling her into another tight hug while Edward loads the car.
"I'm be fine momma I'm not a baby anymore" she laughs pulling away from me
"No you're not" I agree sadly as she skips off to see Edward leaving me with Esme and Alice.
"We'll take good care of her" Esme reassures me "I know you will" I smile before hugging her and Alice. "I packed a few things in you're suit case for you" she whispers in my ear as she pulls away "Alice! Not again" I groan. Esme is now over talking to Edward so we're free to biker about such topics "what?" She asks innocently "your not a shy young vir"
"Bella" Edward says cutting her off, I see him grinning as he gestures towards the car "ready to go" "yep" I reply not letting Alice finish.
She smirks with her arms crossed over her chest as I say one last goodbye to my daughter and get in the car. "Thanks" I laugh when we're both safely in the car. "You looked like you needed saving" he smiles pulling the handbreak and setting off down the road.
"Yeah, I think I'll be packing my own suitcase from now on"
Edward chuckles at my comment and looks out his window briefly, he has a beautiful smile.
