Telling Jacob

Bella's pov
I look up at Edward and clutch his hand for comfort, resting my other one on my already forming bump. I'm waiting for Jacob and Renesmee to come over, we're currently at the Cullen's mansion while they both slept at our cottage last night. We decided that Rose, Edward, Carlisle and Emmet will be going to Rio to track down the vampire that we suspect may be responsible for this being possible but they agreed not to leave until we had a chance to tell ness and jake.

I hear Reneesmees voice chime through the house, her laughter music to my ears, I immediately pull my baggy jumper further over my stomach so that she doesn't notice straight away and wait for her to enter. "Mum, Dad?" She asks with a smile but looking confused as she enters to room. "What are you two doing home?" I go to answer but Edward beats me too it "we just missed you and wanted to come home a little early" he smiles putting his arms out for her, she runs over grinning widely and jumps into his embrace before leaning down and hugging me. I catch Jakes gaze just as she pulls away also frowning "you're warm" she says blankly. "You....I..I heard a heart beat"
I look up at Edward again, "let's give your mother and Jacob a minute to talk okay" he smiles stepping forward and leading her towards the door "why can't you tell me? What's going on" I hear her ask followed by several more questions as they leave the room.

"Jake" I say with a small smile, not noticing my jumper lift as I stand up, his eyes widen. "What the hell" he panics stepping backwards, his breathing rate increased. "How is this...it can't be...this is impossible...physically impossible...it can't be.." I walk closer to him at human pace, stretching my arms out towards him, "just calm down, I'm going to explain" I say calmly trying to relax him. "WHAT THE HELL BELLA HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN, THIS" he yells pulling away from me. "Jake please" I scold gesturing to the door where Renesmee was just left through. He sighs and grits his teeth, clearly understanding why I want him to be quiet. He swallows and takes a small breath "how has this happened" he asks sternly
"I don't exactly know yet...." I tell him, causing him to groan "well this all sounds a little to familiar to me" jake spits angrily shaking his head slowly. "I know...i know you don't understand but none of us do"

I go on to explain what happened from the moment the unknown vampire approached me, how he gripped my arm and a heating sensation traveled over my heart and then stopped, how I started breathing when me and Edward got into a fight and finally how we heard two heart beats and raced home to discover I was pregnant and showing signs of being alive. He didn't answer for a couple minutes "will you live through this one?" He questioned looking at me for the first time in a while. I hesitated "I....we can't be sure but I'm stronger than I was before, I'm not a full human, I can do this" I tell him. "yeah well that's why you said last time and you couldn't" he said coldly. I frowned, "and look what we got out of it, I'm fine now and if I hadn't of gone through that you'd never have Renesmee, would you of rather I didn't?" I ask angrily.
"No of course not but you know what I mean Bella. You need to think about her as well, couldn't you really leave her without her mum?" I sigh in annoyance at his lack of faith in me "I TOLD YOU I CAN DO THIS" I yell back, noticing Edward coming into the room, he closes the door behind him and starts to walk over to us. "You might want to be a little quieter" he suggests coming over to stand beside me. "Why do you think about this then?" Jake asks him gesturing to me. Edward paused before answering "I don't know anymore than you do Jacob, and we know even less than we did with Renesmee, non of us have ever heard of this before....but I didn't stand by Bella before and I won't do that again" he informs him taking my hand, I glance up to smile at him thankfully. He leans down to kiss my head as jake sighs "fine...I don't know what else to say." He states throwing his arms up in the air and turning around "when are you going to tell Ness?" He asks looking back at us.
"Now" I tell him with a small smile.
