Blood and Tears

Introduction

"Big brother!"

It's my little sister calling me again, I never get tired of her voice in the morning, even though I always hear it everytime if im sleeping.

"What is it?" I said.

"Father was calling you, he said that you should get the logs ready"

"Oh okay, where's mother?" I asked.

"Oh, she's in the kitchen. Cooking for us delicious food!" She said in a very joyous tone.

"Really? Ok then" I looked at her and got up in my bed.

"Wanna have a piggy back ride? Let's go to father and help him set the logs." I said to my little sister.

"Really!? Yes!" She smiled happily.

I put my little sister behind my back and I carried her outside where we see our father chopping the wood. We live in the forest it's just a daily routine and a normal life we have here. Even though we're not rich, we still have each other as a family.

"Oh Nesko, is she gaining a little weight?" Said my father to me as I put my sister down.

"I didn't gain weight papa!" Shouted my little sister, it's really cute when we tease her, she always does her pouty lips.

"Really now? Let me check" my father lifted up my little sister.

"See I didn't gain weight papa" said my little sister proudly.

"But you're so chubby!" Father said while pinching my little sister's cheek.
Everyday we are like this, nothing more than a normal family. My father puts down my little sister and told me to go to the village and get some charcoal.

"Big brother, can I go with you?" My little sister said with her amazing puppy eyes. I brought her with me to the village. As we we're walking we saw Erin.

"Oh if it isn't the lovely princess" said erin. Erin is one of my little sister's friends and mine. He's a normal villager here that sells items and books.

"Hi erin!" Shouted my little sister.

"Still happy and full of energy, huh?" Erin said and looked at me.

"She is always like that. By the way did you see Garter around? I need to get some charcoal from him." I said.

"Charcoal? It just so happens that he's not here but I do have one bag of charcoal. You can have it, it's on the house" Erin said as he offers us the charcoal.

"Are you sure? Mr. Erin?" My sister said.

"Of course princess, with that big smile, its nothing"

"Thank you! Mr. Erin!"

"Thanks Erin I owe ya one" I said.

"No problem Nesko, im glad to help anytime."

"We'll be going then, thank you" I said as we wave goodbye to erin. The village we live in is very small but has a lot of livestock and other resources. It is because it's a forest of Hiendin the capital of this place. Hiendin is ruled by King Mohatny Melias the 3rd king of the throne. He always help the villages of the land, giving resources to other villages that came from the capital. He himself delivers the resources and talks to villagers from time to time.

The current queen of Hiendin is Queen Aesa Melias, which is a very kind and beautiful queen, she also visits the villages with the king to give out some resources and talks to villagers.

"I wonder where garter is..." said my little sister.

"He's probably hunting or mining somewhere, im sure he's fine" I said. Im not sure, where's garter. Garter is my dad's cousin, he gives us charcoal and meat whenever we need it, he is always around especially at morning. This is the first time we saw him absent. Out of curiosity I asked the other villagers.
