Nanis POV:
Ive moved on.. to this guy named Tyrie. He swooped me up right when I was at my lowest point. He made me feel so wanted for the first month. For a year I was stuck on Jay. Writing him letters over letters but not having the courage to send them. I was heartbroken. I mean I still am completely. Tyrie is a good guy. Most of the time I guess you could say. Actually thats a lie.. he is a dick. He has had some major dropouts lately anger wise. Whenever he gets angry he takes it out on me. Ty isn't technically what I could compare to X. I mean to be honest.. no one will take his place I still love him deep down. lets be real. I'm in a difficult situation. If I leave he might hurt me. Im stuck in the same place I was when I was little.
Ty makes me stay at his house. Cook , clean. He made me loose all connections with the small amount friends I did have. The only time I really have any social interaction is when he forces me to go out with him on "dates". Tonight was just one of those nights. He always has to pick out my clothes for me. Which really pisses me off because I'm grown. I can pick out my own shit. But if I don't obey his orders ill probably get beat so I usually just take the safer rout , even though it always doesn't end as safe.
Tonight he chose a black pencil skirt that just went a couple inches above my knees to cover my bruises , a lace black crop top , diamond necklace , and a pair of black heels. You see , Tyrie is rich which comes to an advantage sometimes. SOMETIMES. Most of the time he uses it as an excuse to use against me.
"Hurry the fuck up Nani we have reservations." He forcefully told me as I was getting dressed.
"Okay I'm sorry damn." Immediately i regret what I said.
"What was that." He grabs my neck from behind.
"Nothing I'm sorry." I stutter.
"Thats what I thought." He let go and waited in the car.
I hurried as fast as I could and climbed in the car with him. Ty never opened the door for me like Jay did..
The whole car ride was silence. No music. No talking. Thats how he always wanted it.
"Hurry up." Ty climbed out of the car and walked up to the restaurant , not waiting for me. Once I finally caught up he paid no mind to me whats so ever. I felt as if I was just his tag along. Which I was.
The waiter came over and asked for our order. Before I could speak Tyrie spoke over me saying "Ahhh ill have a diet coke and she will have a water."
The waiter replied with a quick okay and asked if we were ready to order. "Yes I will have the chicken parm and she will have a salad."
Once the waiter walked away I sighed deeply.
Ty made me look at him. "What the fuck is your problem Nani."
When I didn't answer him he kicked me under the table.
" Im 20 years old I'm fully capable of ordering my own food. I don't always want to eat salads you know." I said avoiding eye contact.
"Nani you have to stay fit to be with me."
"Well maybe I would like to be the grown person I am and order my own food for once." I was being ballsy because I knew he would never do anything to me visible to the public that is until we got back to his house.
"I don't know whats been going on with you but it needs to stop now."
"YOUR NOT MY FATHER TYRIE!" I yelled in his face not giving a rats ass.
"Nani shut the hell up people are looking." he whispered screamed.
"I don't care." I crossed my arms over my chest and leant back.
Him doing the unexpected , he slapped me so fucking hard across the face. Hard enough to knock me out of my chair. Everything was a blur I think 2 guys started attacking Ty but I couldn't make it out correctly. Everything was happening so fast. Someone came over to me , lifted me up , and carried me outside.
I didn't have the strength to move out of whom evers arms I was in. I was still in complete shock Ty hit me in front of people. I was to dizzy to clearly make out the persons face. They weren't speaking so I couldn't recognize the voice. All I knew was I was scared.
