Unknown,
In the early hours of the morning,
Sadness touches my form,
I remain wrapped in my duvet,
Waiting for the calm after the storm.
Fresh tears rest on my cheeks,
As soft melodies play into my ear,
I feel lost, dizzy and shameful,
I faintly resemble the girl I was last year.
I stare into space,
Searching the ceiling for a reason of the sudden distress,
For something that will erase the feeling,
For Words that will remind me of my previous success.
After highs,
Do come many lows,
It's a fact I can accept,
But of the sudden negativity I can not help but wish to dispose.
Dark Lines paint themselves under my eyes,
As I do my best to drag myself from a tale of woe,
I’m attempting to hold my balance,
Forcing myself to forget the misery, happiness is all I am required to know.
