* Jens POV *
"Mom!!" I yell in to the kitchen
"What Jen?" She appears out of the kitchen in to the family room "Why was your friend and her son here last night?"
"Oh, that reminds me they were here because I have news for you! We are moving from Maine to North Carolina next to the Grier's because your father is mentally unstable and abusive to me and you, so we are getting a divorce. I'm moving on. I'm so sick of us being abused by him." "When??" I say starting to cry. "In a couple of days, maybe a week or two." I just sit there thinking, crying about how much I will miss my only friend and old house.
* Cassie's POV *
*Bing-Bing-Bing*
I hear my phone go off and go grab it off my coffee table. I unlock it and see I have a text from Jen.
Jen: I am moving to North Carolina. :'(
Me: Why???
Jen: My parents...
Me :What's going on with your parents?
Jen: They are getting a divorce because my dad is abusive and unstable.
Me: Oh No! :( Well I'm so sad but I have to go. I'm going out to dinner.
Jen: Okay, but did I mention I met this boy my age named Hayes Grier and he is super cute! but I'm moving next door to him. Bye. have fun.!.
