Chapter 26

Jen's POV

I finished curling my hair perfectly for Hayes and I's date tonight. It wasn't planned just plain out of the blue, like a surprise, my favorite. He said to be ready by eight and last I checked it was seven fifteen. I looked at the mirror and checked myself out, winged eyeliner on point, perfectly matched nude eyeshadow, blush blended well, and perfect lip gloss. Time for an outfit. I searched for what to wear, well we're going to the movies then a dinner at Olive Garden. So something classy, but not to classy, so I'm aiming for jeans and a nice top. I pulled out lightly washed jeans, a light gray Abercrombie t-shirt, random pair of socks, my gray uggs, and a gray beanie. I pulled off my lazy day clothes and put on my outfit and touched up my hair and makeup. Right in time with the bell ringing. I grabbed my purse and rushed down the stairs. I walk around the corner and open the door to a very classy Hayes, he asked,

"ready?"

"Yeah. Mom, Hayes and I are heading out!" I shouted.

"Okay, have fun, I'll see you later. Do you have your key, because I'm going out and won't be home until late.?"she states kindly.

"Yeah, love you." I reply back.

"Have fun!",she replies right before the door clicks shut. Hayes escorts me to the car driven by Nash. He opens my door and I get in, he closes it and walks around and gets in. I've never felt or been treated like this before, it feels nice, I think to myself.

"So where we headed?" I ask nicely. "We are going to the movies first." ,Hayes replies.

"Okay." The rest of the car ride is silent but only for 5 minutes, because we live close to the movies, we go in and pay for our tickets. We are watching ouija, which is in theater 2. We walk in and sit at the top, and Nash sits at the bottom, because Hayes tells him we want to be alone.

During the previews, Hayes crashes his lips against mine and our lips start to move in sync. I feel like a spark was light inside of Hayes because lately he's been really generous and sweet. Maybe, he just realized he wasn't being the greatest boyfriend before and that he wanted to change his attitude. Through out the whole movie we kept kissing and holding hands, the usual things couples do.

After the movie ended we threw away our garbage, and waited by the exit for Nash to get out of the bathroom. Finally, he comes out and we walk to the car, Hayes opens my door and then gets in right beside me.

Nash asks, "So... Olive Garden???"

Hayes and I reply with, "ugh... change of plans, we just want to go to Jen's house instead.".

"Fine by me!" Nash says as he steps on the pedal, laughing.

We arrive at my house, and We walk up to the door and unlock it. Nash pulls away, and returns at his house. We go inside and Hayes asks, "so... what do you wanna do?", "Wanna go upstairs?" I ask kindly, "Sure!", He replies enthusiastically, "let's go!" I shout excitedly. We go up the stairs and turn into my room, I plop down on my bed, along with Hayes. I lean in to peck Hayes on the cheek, but he turns his head, so I kiss his lips, and starts making out with me.
