*Saturday*

The cute guy followed me on Instagram a few days ago, he even Dm'ed me. We had a conversation or two, I got his number and we are planning to hangout today.

"hey Jen" I receive a message.

"hey Hayes" I send back happy he texted me.

"we still hanging out?" he asked. I'm sorta glad he did because I didn't wanna do it myself.

"If you want to! but where?" I say acting not so excited.

"would you want to come over to my house for a little" I know he doesn't mean anything bad, just to hangout. I run to my moms room and immediately ask her.

"Hey mom, would it be okay if I went to hangout with my friend hayes at his house? you'd have to take me." I say sweetly, trying to convince her.

"Of course I'll take you! what time?" She smiled seeming happy to do this favor for me.

"soon. I just have to get ready." I quickly texted Hayes saying,

"My mom will bring me over in about an hour. Is that okay? and I need your address." I was actually really excited.

"that's fine, can't wait." He texted me his address and I went to get ready.

"Outfit, Hair, then makeup." I thought to myself. I ran to my closet picked out a light pair of jeans, a black v-cut shirt and a black and white flannel with my black converse. "this is fine. not too dressy not too bummy." I admired myself in the Mirror.

I started running the straightener through my long hair, eventually finishing it. Now, Makeup. I applied my primer, foundation, and concealer then started on my small details like filling in my eyebrows, doing my winged eyeliner and mascara. As I took a final overview I actually loved this look. I pulled out my overly large IPhone 6s Plus and snapped couple selfies.

Driving to Hayes' I texted him and apologized for looking too dressy because honestly I was a little overdressed for hanging at the house. I didn't care though because this is the first impression. Pulling infront of his house I told my mom goodbye, climbed out and walked to the doorbell. It rung twice before Hayes appeared in the door way with it wide open.

"hey" he seemed stunned.
"hi" I giggled as he let me in.
we started toward the couch and vastly talked about how much we loved TacoBell and other things. I starred into his bright blue eyes and he started back into my sea green ones. I got butterflies. It was around 12:30 in the afternoon and I wasn't leaving until 9. We turned on The Lion King and started watching it. I reached toward the remote to turn it up the same time Hayes did, his hand landed on top of mine and he didn't move it for a minute. He grazed the top of my knuckles with his thumb. I didn't mind though, it was warm and kind of comforting. The movie went on and eventually I was asleep.
