I heard a knock so I made my way from my bed to the door hoping it was Theo. He was supposed to be here at 11 and now it's 11:45am. I was really pissed.

Once I reached the door, I opened it to find Theo standing in front of me with his laptop and a bag of nachos. I gasped as I let him inside.

"I'm sorry I'm late" Theo started explaining as the set his laptop on my bed. "I woke up at 10:30 because my phone died and I couldn't keep track of time"

"It's cool, no worries" I shrug it off because I was hoping to have a good time and I didn't want to spoil it so I decided to keep my drama aside.

"So.....ready for a movie marathon?"
I nodded my head in full enthusiasm.

Theo and I sat on my bed while watching a random chick flick and munching on the nachos. He looked so cute every time he threw his head back laughing like a little kid.

"Kia?" Theo grabbed my attention and turned the volume down "Can we please talk?"
I hesitated for a moment before nodding my head in agreement "Sure, tell me"

"It's just......I once gave my heart to a girl, Ashley. She lived in the neighborhood. She had curly blonde hair till her shoulders, great sense of humour, everything was special about her nothing like the usual Barbie girls. She had a perfect athlete's body and her eyes....gosh! Every time I met her gaze, I felt drawn to her eyes. The icy blueness generated a feeling like I was being pulled into a lake of myraid shades of blue swirled together generating a millions of butterflies in my stomach. Her eyes were the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen; the color of a perfect raindrop on a blue aster. She was perfect. Even a 'hello' from her got me smiling like a fool. We hung out together quite often and ended up having a blast every time. However the day I was going to confess my feelings..." He suddenly stopped.
Theo was expressing himself to me and I didn't want him to stop. I really wanted to know the Theo behind that 'always chill' guy who couldn't care less about others.
I held his hand, trying to comfort him as I could see his brown eyes getting heavy. "What happened next?"

He took a deep breath "That day she texted me that she was moving out of town and I didn't even get a chance to tell her how much I loved her. I was crushed. I haven't seen her ever since and she hasn't even bothered to text. I may seem hard hearted but I'm not. I may be stubborn, sassy and rude but at times I have a big heart and care about others more than I should. I'm not half-hearted Kia, I'm just hard-headed" I could see that Theo was on the verge of breaking down. Who knew there was a loving and caring person behind that dark, handsome muscular image of his.

"Theo, sweetheart, you'll find someone that truly loves you. I'm not saying you'll find a princess or any other clichéd word for the right girl but that someone will give you happiness and she won't be any random girl who'll falsely lead you into lies about how charming and cool she is. No. That someone will make you realize you're worth it and true love does exist"

He gave me that heartwarming smile I've always adored instantly flinging his arms around me, holding me as tight as possible

I rubbed his back in attempts to comfort him down. I slowly let go, making sure he is calm now.
"You ok---" before I finish my sentence a soft pillow slams on  my face
"Theo!" I scream. Theo just looks at me all innocent.
"This means war!" I declare as i chase a shrieking Theo around the room.
"Can't catch me!" Theo taunts showing his tongue
"We'll see" I exclaim laughing as I hit his arms with a pillow. Theo strikes back. For the next half an hour the both of us keep chasing each other having a pillow fight forgetting about the still on going movie because we can barely hear anything to even notice it

My room resembled Narnia in winter as it was all covered with pillow stuffings.

I stood beside the bed gasping for air. Theo was no where to be seen. Can't be good. He's surely up to something. I scan the room for Theo.

Suddenly someone pushes me onto the bed from behind

"Theo! You scared me!!!" I mutter now on the bed
Theo's cheeky face grins back at me "Got ya!" He exclaimed
I arch an eyebrow at him. "Seriously Theo...I hate you. I don't think you should stay for any longer, maybe you should go"

Theo's face immediately falls "Kia I'm really sorry...if this is about pushing you or hitting you... Please forgive me...pretty please" he stutters one of the pouty pleading expressions on his face. I sigh. I know I couldn't play around with him anymore after that heart melting pout

"Caught ya!" I shriek. Theo looks startled and then he stares at me.
"You...you.." He mutters
"I what? Eh?" I asking taunting
"I'm so gonna...." He continues
"What are you gonna do mister?" I say naughtily
"Kiss you." He say abruptly, crashing his soft lips on my forehead. "Thank you for listening to my bullcrap and being so understanding. I truly treasure this bond"
I smile at him, intertwining my fingers into his. "I'm here for you. Always"
Theo was looking right into my eyes. His eyes were only brown but when I looked into them, I saw colors that never existed.

'Knock knock!' I hear somebody on the door. I'm instantly brought back to life by the continuous and short knocks
"Who's it?" I ask as I sit up
"Kiara, it's Sophia. We're all going for lunch, want me to get you anything?"
"Oh, no, I'll be there in a while thanks..."
