I pulled down the flower skirt a little as I stood in front of the mirror in my room. I hope I don't get in trouble for this. It's now Friday and I wanted to get my 11th wish out of the way. I think I used half of my makeup trying to cover up my awful dark circles. I can't wait to come home and sleep. I decided I was done looking in the mirror and grabbed my bag and left my house.

I opened the door to the band hall and went straight to my band locker. I could feel everyone's eyes on me.

"You look great," a voice said. I turned around and saw Xander's face smiling at me.

"Thanks," I replied, while putting my band binder in the locker. I was proud of myself. I was breezing through these wishes. Yesterday, I got a call from the animal shelter, saying that I got the job. I would start on Monday after school.

"Wow, first you want to sneak in to a rated-R movie, then you wear clothes like this," April said, walking up to me, "Since when have you been so rebellious?" I giggled.

"You only live once," I said, trying to sound wise. Then, the bell rang signaling the start of the day. We walked out of the band hall and ran into some seniors. Some really cute seniors. One of them smiled when he saw me.

"Hey there," he said, with a deep voice, "How is someone as gorgeous as you still single?" I smirked.

"What makes you think I'm single?" I asked him.

"No boy is flaunting over you."

"Then what are you doing?" I laughed. Xander cleared his throat.

"Actually, we have to get to History," Xander said, moving up to stand next to me, "so you should leave." He clenched his jaw to show he meant business. The senior threw his head back.
