"Holy shit, Spence!"

Margo gasped after fumbling around on the floor for her phone without actually taking her eyes off the letter that was taunting her. She stepped backwards towards the window and looked out nervously expecting to see a shadow or something eery.

"What is it?" He asked with concern.

"He's left a note. It says watch out." She informed him.

"That could be the proof we need to keep the case from closing."

"I'm bringing it in now." She spoke with determination, grabbing the car keys and pulling her jacket on before making her way down to the lobby.

"No!" He yelled through the phone. "Margo, he's out there somewhere."

"Or he could be in the apartment complex, he got in there somehow to put a letter in our post box so I'm not much safer at home am I?"

Spencer couldn't argue because her point was valid so he stayed silent as he heard the heavy door of the apartment closing and the car engine that was driving above the speed limit. She felt unsafe being out there where Lorpin must have been but she knew it was something that needed to be done.

The BAU building slowly appeared and her messy parking was definately not up to scratch with the professional cars alongiside hers. She couldn't have cared less. She ran slowly, her muscles not working as well as usual. Being familiar with the building made it easy for Margo to navigate her way up to the floor her husband worked on and people generally knew who she was.

"Spence!" She shouted when she saw him waiting at the entrance of his department; holding his hands out, he took the crumpled letter from her and spread it out on the table in front of him.

"I can't believe he came so close to our home." He breathed heavily.

"I thought those guards were there."

"They took them away last week but I didn't want to worry you." He admitted.

"Thank you."

"Margo, I didn't know you were coming in." The familiar voice of Agent Rossi sounded.

Her face turned more serious. "We had a note from him."

"It looks like you two have been right all along."

Rossi got the rest of the team together as Margo was told to wait in the conference room with Garcia. Penelope tried to speak to her friend normally but Margo couldn't help but feel like she was turning into just another part of the case again. The woman lay her head down on the desk, loose hair fanning around her.

"Everything's gonna work out, you know." Garcia tried to assure her.

"It's not that." Margo shook my head. "Have you got any painkillers here? I keep getting these cramps."

"Is it time to paint the town red?"

"Must be pretty soon." The girl shrugged. "Or something to do with the stuff Thomas did, they told me I may feel it for a while."

"I'll get you some."

Penelope walked outside only pausing briefly to say something to the team. Before she could come back, Spencer walked in and sat down next to his wife, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and pulling her close. The others followed him in with small smiles.

"Margo, are you doing okay" Hotch asked sympathetically.

"I'm fine, thanks."

"Okay, first of all I want to apologise for not believing you."

"You should have listened." Spencer said.

Margo out her hand on Spencer's thigh. "He was doing his job."

"No." JJ shook her head. "We were all to focused on the system instead of our friends. Spencer wants to protect you and you've joined our family so anyone who hurts you, they hurt the rest of us too."

Margo grinned happily, her heart warming that the thought of her like that. "That means a lot."

"We're really going to put our heads together to find him." Rossi began to brainstorm. "Are you willing to stay in a different place for a while so he wont know where you are?"

"If Spence goes."

"Anything." Spencer nodded, entwining their fingers.

Garcia walked back in then with a small white pill and a mug of water, the mug was bright, patterend and presumably belonged to her. Margo took them gladly as Hotch handed her the note.

"Can you see if there's any hand writing on the system that matches that? We need to make sure it is Thomas Lorpin."

"Right away."

"How unlucky would it be if I got targeted by two killers in the same year."

She joked loosely earning surprised looks from everybody before they began to chuckle slowly and they all smiled to each other. Even though their situation was shit, they had each other. They felt like a family.
