"What do you mean mission time" I said
All heads turned to me.
I gave them a look that said ' I have been standing here forever and you just noticed me'
Jason said " We will explain after you eat"
He took my hand and led me to the dining room.
I sat at the table and placed a plate in front of me.
"Its Scallop Sashimi with Meyer Lemon Confit." Jason said
I honestly don't know what he just said but it looked amazing.
I literally dug in.
Jason started " We don't know exactly who was chasing us but your Dad and the agency is working on it. Your dad suggested you stay with us for little bit to throw whoever was following us off your tail, at least for a while."
I took my time digesting the food and his words.
I still didn't understand most of it. Why were people chasing me I mean I was the only baby to make it out a live but come on you can't spend your whole life chasing after one person when you could have a next child already.
Not only that why haven't they tried kidnapping someone in exchange for me thank God they haven't but still I should stop watching Lifetime movies.
"We are going on a mission this weekend to follow up on a lead we got about this case" Jason said
"Oh" I said
"Is Christina going to" I asked "Yes" he replied once again on his phone.
"Can I go then" I asked
Justin and Christina walked in then.
"Go where" Justin asked
"On the mission with you guys.
"No" Justin said
"Yes" Chrissy said same time
"Why not it would me fun to have another girl on the trip" she said
"Gotten tired of me already" Justin asked a Chrissy
"Have you met you, I am surprised you aren't tired of yourself" Chrissy said
"1 I have met myself ( she rolled her eyes) 2 I am the sexiest man alive you should love my presence." Justin said
"Cocky doesn't suit you and I have seen sexier men" Chrissy said
"Hah you wis-......" Justin said
He got cut off by a loud horn blown by me.
"Enough" I said " You two act like a married couple"
" Well we are not married yet" Justin said
I glared at him while Chrissy scoffed and said "In your wildest dreams are we getting married"
"Oh you know you want to be in those dreams" Justin said
I just walked out in search of Jason who had left when Chrissy and Justin started arguing and I saw this room that looked like a living room.
As soon as I went into the room I saw this man on the other side of the room pointing a gun at me.
