"Hey Laina, want to come with us to the Grove?" Jake asks me the next morning.

"Who is going?" I ask.

"Oh, you know, Tessa ... Kade... Chance ... Erika ... Anthony... Nick ... Emilio ... Ivan-"

"Sure," I interrupt as soon as I hear Ivan's name.

"Okay, well, let's get going." he says.

Everyone gets in Jake's truck and we drive to the Grove. As soon as we step out into the street, herds of people run up to Jake and take pictures and videos of him.

He says hi to as many people as he can. Kids also crowd around Emilio and Ivan and cry and hug them. Other fans huddle around Tessa, Erika, and the rest of the crew.

I stand there watching.

That must get annoying. Anytime they try to go in public, they are bombarded with fans.

Suddenly, a short red-haired girl run ups to me. "You're Laina, right?" she asks.

I look down at her. She can't be more than 8 years old, and she has the biggest smile on her face.

"Yea," I respond. "What's your name?"

"I'm Marlee," she says. "I saw a video of you singing. You're amazing!"

The girl is so enthusiastic, I can't help but smile. "Thank you so much! You know, you're my very first fan." As I say this, I give her a little poke on the nose.

She giggles and asks, "Can I have your autograph?"

Oh goodness. I suck at signing.

"Sure," I tell her. "But I don't have a really cool signature like celebrities do."

"I don't care." She hands me her phone case and a sharpie. In my neatest handwriting, I slowly spell out Laina Jones across her case.

Her smile gets even wider as I hand her back her stuff. She quickly hugs me and runs back to her mom.

I never thought such a little child could warm my heart this much.

When I turn back to face the rest of Team 10, most of the fans have walked away and Jake is staring at me, grinning.

"You know, you're going to need to write faster with those signatures. What's going to happen when you have a bunch of kids shoving papers and pens in your face at once?"

I laugh. "I'll keep that in mind," I tell him.

After we stop at a restaurant to eat, Tristan suggests we do a photo shoot.

We find a private spot in the park and Jake calls Stan Gerards and tells him to come and take the pictures.

Since they don't already have any pictures of me, I'm in most of the photos. All the boys take turns taking pictures with me.

When it's Ivan's turn, we climb a tree and get artsy pictures with the sunset behind us.

"Ivan, give her a kiss on the cheek," Stan says. "That would make such a cute picture."

Ivan smiles at me and kisses me on the cheek. The flash goes off and Stan cheers, "I got it!"

He clicks a few buttons on his camera and looks at the picture. "Awww, it's adorable. You guys should date," he jokes.

Ivan laughs. I wish, I think. But on the outside I laugh too and act like I didn't take it seriously.

When it gets too dark to keep taking pictures, we head back to the house.

We're all too tired to stay up any later, so everyone walks off to their room as soon as we get inside.

Before I go in my room, I turn to Ivan and give him a hug before he asks if he can have one.

"I think it has become a daily thing, Ivan," I say.

He laughs. "Yeah, I think it has."
