I was looking down at my phone, busy texting Klara when someone bumped into me real hard, almost as if they had run into me.

Startled, I dropped my phone on the ground and looked up with an annoyed expression.

“I AM SO SORRY!” said a brown haired boy. His voice was deep set, he had grey eyes, like the color of a storm cloud and his lips curved into a perfect smile; his cheekbones were high risen and his tan gave his skin tone an olive complexion with the perfect glow. He looked like he had just walked out of a portrait.

“Umm its okay” I said bringing myself back to reality. He bent down and picked up my phone. “Hi! I'm Callum Grant.” He said as he offered my phone back. I took it out of his palm and smiled. “Nia Pearce.”

“Nia, you’re a 1st year right?” he asked crossing his taught arms. “Yes” I said tucking my hair behind my ear.

“Well I’m a second year… if you ever need anything! Give me a buzz” he said staring at me intently. I couldn’t help but feel the warmth radiate off his body.

“Well I don’t have your number!” I said raising my eyebrow.

“Yes you do, I programed it in.” he said and held my hips. I drew a sudden breath shocked at his movement. “Don’t worry I'm just trying to get past you.” he said smirking. “Even if you don’t call… ill be calling you tonight Nia Pearce for our little date” he said as he ran up. I stood there, shocked by his guts. I mean he was so free and so well real! I couldn’t help but smile to myself.

I kept walking, smiling and thinking about him, what a weird way to meet someone! And… had he just asked me out? My phone broke my train of thought when it started buzzing. It was Klara.

“Where are you? we are waiting for you at the pit! Hurry up!” she whined. She didn’t really give me a chance to answer back.

“Hello?” I said frowning. She had hung up on me by then.

As I stepped into my grey BMW, my phone buzzed again. Annoyed thinking it was Klara I pulled it out harshly.

So you will have Italian tonight, right?

It was a text from Callum. I smiled. This guy was doing some serious research NO! That is not how you ask someone out to dinner! I replied.

After a few seconds he replied saying OKAY! I will see you at your place. 7 sharp, beautiful.

This boy knew what he was doing.

“Nia! Baby, please come in here!” my mother sang as I entered through the door. That made me suspicious. The only time that my mother was nice to me was when she wanted me to do something for her.

I dropped my gym bag on the floor and walked towards the sound of her voice. My hair was matted in sweat and I was hungrily gulping down water as I entered the hall. There to receive me was my mother, Berta and Callum who was dressed in a casual green collared t-shirt and blue jeans. His hair was in a messy do and his cologne’s delicious smell made my head spin.

“What are you doing here?” I asked, embarrassed by my appearance.

He responded with a lop sided smile and my mother narrowed her eyes, warning me.

I frowned at them, wondering what I had said to receive both a sexy smirk and a death glare.

“Nia” said my mother enthusiastically. “You didn’t tell me what you had a date.”
