How Did You Do It?

Through the bloodshed of countless young men,
And the protests of your elders,
You continue to thrive and live,
Not survive,
In a place where cruelty's are nothing,
And the discharge of responsibility meets your eyes,

And yet you muster your courage,
You make your voice count,
When no-one would listen,
I ask you,
How did you do it?
Because the same cannot be said for me.
