Falling From Grace

The saddest yet most beautiful sight to see,
The once noble earth floats before me,
I stare so idly, afraid of the inevitable,

The greatest achievement of man,
Leaves me more frightened than before,
To think that our dominion,
Has led to discovery and destruction,
Is a thought that brings a tear to the eye,

Once again the single most tragic and delicate sight,
Is crumbling upon man's own mistakes,
Because where we triumph, we fail,
And where we fall from grace,
We do not recover.
