A Willow Tree

Your gentle flowers fly freely in the wind,
Your limbs extending gracefully,
Your eye-catching demeanour displayed proudly in the sun,
Your majestic, greenery falling and reclaiming your arms.

Before you, I never believed,
That something could be so serenely perfect,
Something so sparing and kind to those around us.

I am here to thank you, gentle willow,
That you still spare and commit acts of kindness,
Through the insincere actions of the fool.
