Under the Sakuras

It has been days ever since Kaoru kissed me. It has been days but it felt like it was just yesterday.

Her soft lips, her gentle touch, her cute blush... I love her...

"Butch!" Brick called.

"Yeah?"

"Dad, Boomer and I are going to buy food!"

"Okay!"

Great! I can go out! Even though it's a Sunday today.

As soon as I heard the door close, I rushed to my window. There they are, walking to the grocery store. Walk, walk, walk, gone! Finally!

I rushed downstairs, grabbed a notebook and pen and wrote a note. I hung the note on the fridge and went outside.

I went to the sakura forest, the best place to relax. I looked around to make sure there aren't any fangirls around, and sat down next to a sakura tree.

I looked up and stared at the clouds. This is the best place to relax and think about happy thoughts. I smiled.

"I thought you're gonna go to the skate park," I heard someone say.

I looked to my side and saw Kaoru, standing right there; I smiled.

"Hi Kaoru," I said.

"Hi Butch," she said and sat down next to me.

Our eyes locked for a minute and smiled. Then suddenly, my phone rang.

I looked at the caller I.D: Brick. Awww, come on!!

I was about to answer it when Kaoru stopped me by placing her hand on top of mine. I looked at her with curiosity.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You don't want him to scold you when you're having a peaceful time right?" she asked.

"Yes."

She retrieved her hand; she smiled. I decided to take her advise and declined the call, muted my phone, and pocketed it.

I looked at her once more and placed a hand on her cheek. She blushed a little but came closer to me until our noses were touching each other.

I blushed at it, and started to brush my lips against hers. After a while, our lips finally crashed into each other, we kissed for the second time. We kissed for a few seconds until we parted. We took time to catch our breath.

"I love you Kaoru," I said.

"I love you too Butch," she said. I finally get to hear those words.

Our eyes locked as we smiled. She rested her head on my shoulder and a hand on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer. I closed my eyes, finally having someone precious to me close to me. (me: my precious... *holds up a ring*)

A/N: I'm also a Lord of the Rings fan. Man, the places I mentioned are the sakura forest, the boys' house, Butch's room and the park only. Wow. Next chapter will contain action, finally!!
