Tessa's POV

"Tessa, would you mind taking care of Alex and Leo while I take your aunt out for the afternoon?" Uncle Andrew asked as we sat at the table eating late lunch. Alex and Leo were eating their food as though it was the first time they ever ate.

Aunt Lydia raised her eyebrows." Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise. What do you say Tess?" Alex and Leo just looked up at me shrugged and then continued eating.

"Sure," I replied. After we were finished eating and I had changed back into my clothes, Uncle Andrew and I was waiting for Alex and Leo. Aunt Lydia came by the car.

"Promise me something, Tess."

"What's the promise?" I asked her.

" That you'll move on," she begged. I don't know if I can.

After a long pause of thinking, I answered. " I promise," I hugged her. When Alex and Leo came in the car, Uncle Andrew drove off.

Jamie's POV

That was awkward. I lay in my bed, again, exhausted from trying to lift weights.

"Jamie," someone called. I recognized the voice immediately. It was my mother's- stepmother's to be exact. I went down the stairs and greeted my parents. I helped Dad unpacked his stuff then I sat on the sofa watching, on my iPad , Danisnotonfire videos. This guy has some really funny videos on Youtube. I met him once while I was in the mall back in London. He's a funny British guy. Eventually I had watched out all of his videos and I was bored again. Then I got an idea and grabbed my van keys.

"Where are you going?" Mom asked.

" To visit a friend."

Tessa's POV

I sat next to Alex and Leo,on the blue sofa home who was fighting with Josh about how much popcorn everyone has to take because it was my mom's caramel popcorn which she makes herself. It tastes really good, so I heard because I hate caramel popcorn. We were watching Gladiator and I really wasn't interested in that movie so Krystal and I talked during the whole movie while my mom was cleaning the house, she  had now reached Josh's room and kept yelling these comments: "Josh is just like his father, unsanitary!" or "God help me, Josh is disgusting!". I'll admit I felt sorry for her.

Then the doorbell rang. Everyone ignored it but Krystal looked at us. She struggled to get up and groaned. I noticed that last 5-6 months Krystal put on some weight. It was obvious because she was a slim figure and she started wearing bigger clothes. "Well someone get it," she said.

Josh looked up." Babe are you okay?" he asked cautiously. As a doctor in training, I could tell Krystal is hiding something from Josh and I and it had something to do with her body. " Hey Alex and Leo that's for you uh... your mom told me to tell you that your friend was delivering something here and I forgot to mention it to you." Alex and Leo looked at josh , shrugged and then went to the door.

"You're lying, aren't you?" I said to Josh and he nodded as he put a whole set of popcorn in his mouth.

" Hey, you're not Dave. Where's Dave?" I heard Leo asked.

"Lee, of course that's not Dave. He's the skinny  guy who played Anthony in Sweeney Todd!" I heard Alex exclaimed. Josh and I exchanged confused looks and then went to the door. Josh reached the door before me then stopped when he saw who it was.

"Oh, it's for Tessa," he said with a laugh and then told the person, "Good luck." I looked over Leo's head and saw Jamie.

"Yeah that's me though I'd like to know what do you refer to yourselves as?" he asked them.

Leo stopped Alex from answering with his hand. "That's easy awesome teenage twins," Leo flashed an unfriendly smile at Jamie. Jamie opened his mouth to reply but I spoke first.

"Why don't you guys go back to watching the movie and I'll deal with the gentleman?" I asked them gently.

"Gentleman?! That's what you call him? He's so annoying and immature!" Leo stalked off back into the living room. Alex gave Jamie a death stare then went back to the living room.

"Rude twins," Jamie muttered.

I let out a sigh. "What do you want?"

"Is it a crime to visit you?" he asked with a smirk.

"Maybe," I smirked.

"Tessa, I wanted to ask you an important question," he told me.

"Which is?"

"Would... would-would ... do you want to hang out?" he managed out.

"Is that why you came here?" I asked. Most guys will send a text message or call but Jamie came. He's a sweet guy. Then I remember my fear.

"Oh.. I see you think I'm lonely. You know don't know you?"

"Know what?" He was confused.

"About what Liam did to me."

"Who and what did he do?" I gave him a death glare then he answered honestly. " Yes and I know about your fear too but I promise I won't ever do that. How did you know that I knew?"

"Jamie, I studied Psychology. You kind of gave it away the way how you asked. You think I'm broken but I'm not," I said.

"Tessa, I don't know if you're broken but... would you like to go on a date with me?" Even though he asked me to hang out first, the question hit me like a cold breeze on a hot summer day. I was right. Jamie likes me and Lily knew that. I should have figured it out by his gestures and expressions and his body language. I stared at him in shock. Did he just asked me that? I would like to date him but my fear. What if he does what Liam did? I don't want myself in that position again. Jamie is hot and he has those lovely blue eyes but the question was could I bring myself to trust Jamie? I'm not an actor or a celebrity. Does he want something from me?

"What do you want from me?" I asked him softly.

"Uh... to date you?" he replied, passing his hand through his long blonde hair. "What do you think I want?" He paused and studied my face. "Oh no ... I'm not that kind of guy."

"How could I know the type of guy you are?"

"Lily wouldn't introduce her best friend who I fell in love with immediately to some douchebag," he said, sounding sexier than ever.

Should I date him?
