White lips,
Pale face,
Breathing in snowflakes
^*^Kent's POV
I sit on the steps outside the school. First period has started and I sit there, waiting. What I'm waiting for I'm not sure.
I watch as the gray eyed girl sprints up the steps. A fresh purple blot forming on her jaw. Gray hairs are sprayed out in different directions.
"Jynx what's wrong?" I ask.
Her eyes dart to me. "N-nothing I'm fine." She responds fast with a slight stutter. Walking up I rest my hands on her shoulders.
"What's wrong?" I ask again. My tone hard and crisp.
She looks broken. He eyelids droop and she wraps her long arms around me. My back tenses at her touch. I slowly relax and wrap my arms around her waist. She buries her head in the crook of my neck. Reaching my hands up, I bury my face and hand in her dyed hair.
The curled ringlets tickle my face. There is no tears, just silence. I pull her closer to me, almost trying to figure out what's going on.
She pulls away and rest her forehead against mine. "Thank you," I hear her whisper. Her voice soft and gentle. The slight rasp makes it seem like she hasn't talked in awhile.
She moves in closer. Her nose slightly brushes against mine. The smell of her minty breath smells refreshing. I try to move in but she wipes her head around and gives me a peck on the cheek.
"Come on that's not a real kiss," I whine.
"Then you'll just have to suck it up," tells me. I watch as Jynx, a mystery to most- struts into the building. The moment she does the bell rings.
I chuckle under my breathe and walk to class.
