Meowth
Lazily she followed Litten as the pokemon stole one of Ash's doughnuts. Well I needed to visit Stoutland anyway, that pokemon has me worried. She had seen and met with enough Stoutlands and the other evolutions more than enough times to know something was up.
Glancing at Adeline who had been shopping for fruit they did not have. "Meow !" She yowled before rushing off with the human on her tail.
They watched in silence, she and Adeline as Stoutland corrected Litten. Arching his back, a clever trick to gather the needed energy. Fire rippled completely all over the large pokemon before it leaped into action, the practice log disappeared.
At the impact a dying tree lost another one of it's leaves. A bad sign.
"Could I learn that move, Fire Fang ?" Eevee questioned eagerly. The younger pokemon seemed to have not sensed something was wrong. So wrong, She twitched in sadness. "If you evolve into Flareon, then yes," She answered curtly.
"Oh," Eevee replied in disappointment.
Looking back it was now Litten's turn with a large nut from the looks of it. Litten arched it's back but the flames were small and did not cover the pokemon's body. Fail, she thought instantly once the flaw was spotted.
Litten leaped in the air, this time flames enveloped it's body. The flames-like aura was right and the mouth was covered in flames. But it was a fail and Litten paid for it in pain.
"Ouch," Adeline muttered.
Adeline
It was rare, two different pokemon in types and species practicing the same move. Stoutland had been teaching Litten all it knew. When Ash left did she offer up a pile of Oran Berries. "Here eat all of them Stoutland, you need them," She said after she heard the pokemon's ominous cough.
Examining the pokemon she could tell this one was old. Experienced but too old for a life like this. "Listen, you guys are welcome at my home, Okay Stoutland ?" She said cautiously to the older pokemon who clearly knew something was not right.
Kirlia
"Stoutland clearly loves Litten and vise versa," Hazel replied. She was picking up worry and ill ease from the two humans. "Their welcome here, I can set up something comfortable," Hazel added as the human busied herself.
Worry radiated from the two. Clearly they knew something was wrong, very wrong. The stress was so tight.
Meowth
They rushed through the city to check on Stoutland only to see Ash and Litten worriedly examining Stoutland who was down. "I hate being right, this is the first time !" Adeline muttered in frustration as she bent to examine the downed pokemon.
"It's not heavy..." Ash reported as he slung the large pokemon on his back. "That's not good !" Adeline blabbed causing Ash and the Rotomdex to look at her questionly. "Stoutland should be solid and heavy," Adeline admitted sadly.
A lone leaf fluttered past her before landing in the water. Taking in the scent, she scented another Meowth. Not an Alolan one but one like her. Too worried for the older pokemon she followed the two humans to the Pokémon Center.
Litten was yowling up a storm uselessly as Nurse Joy and her pokemon cared for Stoutland. Once the door opened she ran in with Litten to Stoutland's side. She could see a IV was attached to Stoutland.
Adeline
She had given Ash a list of things to get for Stoutland before falling asleep at the Center after she checked in with her Mom. Only thing was Ash woke her up worriedly. It seemed during her and Meowth's exhausted sleep the two wild pokemon had disappeared.
Meowth had been guiding her but had stopped. Staring up at the moon, she saw a horrified expression on the pokemon's face. After that Meowth had become confused, she was pretty sure the clever feline was trying to locate Stoutland.
After that the pokemon forlornly headed for home. Staring at the sky the pokemon stopped to stare at the clouds. Stopping the pokemon sat down and continued to watch until she scopped her up.
"Ash is with Litten, huh," She muttered.
