Jhene

Before leaving the house, something else caught my eye. There was a stack of boxes near the door. I walked over to them and sat down on the floor, opening them up. Inside, I found several crewnecks, hoodies, sweats, t-shirts, and long sleeve shirts, all OVO brand. Another note laid at the bottom of the last box.

Welcome to the crew.

I smiled and picked it up. I guess I did feel welcomed by them, this entire vacation reassured me. Now I really felt like a part of them.

Slipping one of the Nothing Was the Same hoodies over top of my head, I went into the garage of the house in search of the key he had told me about in one of the notes. Gasping, my eyes widened as I saw a white Bentley Continental GT parked right in front on me. No, he couldn't. I quickly searched for the key under the mat, and it was there. Walking around to the driver's side, I slid in and put the key into the ignition. Instead of going straight to Aubrey's house, I realized I was alone and could go anywhere I wanted. Not even thinking twice about it, I drove around the town in search of the nearest casino. I know Aubrey told me not to do this, but I just wanted to get this damn bet done and over with.

After asking a few people that were familiar with the area where I could find the nearest place, I finally got there. As I parked, I glanced up to see where I was parked just in case I got lost afterwards. Row Q, Number 104. I unbuckled my seatbelt, locked the door, and made my way inside the building. No one looked familiar, and I was thankful of that. My phone buzzed, quickly taking my focus away.

Aub: Enjoying it?

I felt guilt form in my stomach. I was betraying what he said, but I needed to do it. I guess I could just play fast.

Making my way over to the blackjack tables, I bought in and began playing my hand.

It was 10PM by the time I was finished. I won a little over 3K, having a total of 27K now. Before leaving, I grabbed a quick drink, then headed out the doors. I found Row Q, walking down the lot until I found the parking spot I had parked in. I made my way to 104, but the Bentley wasn't there. Maybe I didn't remember correctly... I turned around to search for it, but a voice interrupted me.

"I see you found time to play."

I turned around to see Antonio staring me dead in the eyes. Holy shit, not again.

"I'm giving you what you want. Just let me go home." I begged, praying to god that it would work.

"That's a nice car you have. Aubrey bought it for you, didn't he?" He spat, making me cringe.

"No." I gulped, not wanting to give him any information.

"Lying won't help you, baby."

"Don't fucking call me that." I spat back at him, trying to keep myself together. I've only shown weakness and that clearly got me nowhere, so I needed to be strong. "Where's my car?"

"Calm down, I'll tell you in a minute." He seethed through gritted teeth, clearly becoming impatient.

Just as we were speaking, a car slowly passed through the parking lot around us. It was moving slowly, making me shake a bit, praying to god it wasn't more trouble. All of a sudden, three to four more guys came out of a car and stood by Antonio. The car that was circling around us finally came to a stop, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Aubrey step out of the car.

"Leave her the fuck alone, Andre. I swear to fucking god I'll kill you right here." Aubrey pulled out a gun. I immediately froze in my spot. What did he mean by 'Andre'? Did he know them?
